- Preparations fro the NFL Draft are in full swing with the event officially beginning Thursday and metro Detroiters are excited to see it all come to fruition. "We are very excited. It's going to be awesome," Tori Niehaus, a Downtown Detroit resident said. "Friday is going to be fun, it's going to be second or third round, you know getting down here and see what's going on with the city," Tim Niehaus said.

Feel like living in any downtown city, construction noise is expected. Noise in general. Besides, the noise here is temporary anyways.

The city must be behind if theyre working around the clock to get the stuff done. I'd say poor planning if you've got people working till 2am. Send them home at 10pm and start at 7am next morning. Not hard to be considerate. But again, theyre probably really behind in what is needed to be done. Hope they pull it off safely.
