  • In this tutorial, we are going to look at symmetry in photography. Symmetry is a great technique in photography, it will clean up your compositions and can make the most mundane things look fantastic!
Symmetry in photography is achieved when two halves of an image hold the same weight and give a perfect balance between the two sides of your photograph. Below is a video, tips and examples to help you get more creative in your photography by using symmetry.

I am currently taking the course and I am really enjoying myself. Clear & concise for me, the beginner. Np technical jargon or added fluff to make the lessons longer than they need to be. 👍👍

Your videos are always very intuitive I like the sound of your courses I have purchased Lightroom end photo shop no idea how do use Photoshop my problem is I do not read and write very well I’m 60-year-old come from a large family lost my father when I was young my mum bought us up
working on the land seven days a week school and was not important surviving was. I am pretty good with my camera could be better but I know that taking a picture is only the start of the process it’s your skill with photo editing that really makes a difference between good and great could your courses help me my reading is not too bad my spelling is non-existent. Thank God for predictive text I have a new iPad which I can talk to you slowly and it’s pretty good most of the time sometimes I read back what I have said and I am totally baffled look forward to hearing from you all the best Andy.

I don't doubt what you are saying about tripods and being kicked out, but I don't quite understand it: aren't you on public ground and hence anything's fair game?

Nope, it's private land owned by those buildings I'd suspect. Walk down a few meters then you're on public ground, few meters more, back on private etc! It's a nightmare up there these days!

Does anyone know where I can find full videos for editing purposes? I am
a total beginner and I have ZERO practice material and I currently do
not have the means to make my own...

Love the bridge shot. You said you had no choice to go below iso 6400, but the bridge is static and you clearly had a tripod. Why not use it?

while some of the covid restrictions are being relaxed , why not take a quick holiday/weekend break abroad to make a video in sunnier climes ?

Why haven’t you used your tripod hanging on your bag to reduce ISO and increase aperture?
