One thing I appreciate about this channel is the lack of drama. Just utility. Made by adults, for adults.

Alot of these ranch/farm homesteading channels try to create problems that they fix during the video not here it's just mundane ranch work that we don't mind watching

Let’s just say my two g-daughters live in an urban setting, not much exposure to cows.
I had to let both of them re-watch this video. The youngest just loves to hear the cows, and was not a bit happy until I restarted the entire video.

Its very relatable to watch you and Hilarie work through projects and chores that are conceptually simple but often require Apollo 13 creative engineering to execute. No regrets. We would not have it any other way. Its one of the endearing qualities we love about the lifestyle and bet you do too. Best to you and your entire family.

The cattle seemed to take right to their new surroundings. Had to laugh at the hog with the hot wire...makes them jump in a hurry. You and Hillary make a good team. Pretty well read out each other's next move without having to discuss every little item.

Humor: The postman was having problems with a dog each time he passed this one house. The dog was always sitting on the porch seemingly waiting and wrun at him barking. Then on one piticular day, as he passed the dog house, the dog was not there. Highly curious, he back stepped and walked up to the door and knocked. A lady answered and asked "Yes may I help you?". The postman looked arpound once more then stated "Hows your dog?" and the lady responded :"Yes I did".

I'm a new viewer and love your videos, just a caution, i knew tv repair guy. He thinks all the accidental electric jolts he got every so often weakened his heart, so take it as a warning. My dad n mom farmed when they were younger so did also big garden. Wonderful life for kids, alot of hard work in all kinds of weather tò, with chickens n dairy cattle , but close to beautiful earth our Creator gave us!! Peaceful out in nature .

Titus was yelling out on Latin Moo. With a lot of mooing and pooping the herd was moved. Looks good with the nicer digs for the winter.

Was watching Iowa Country Girl last night and they were installing a new type watering setup. Doesnt need electricity and self refills. Little pricey but pays for itself. I like her channel.

I just love this channel. I never expected that daily farmlife and farm projects would interest me this much. Right now this channel is one of my escapes. Entertainment, tranquility, and interesting technical tidbits are things I get here. I used to love spending time outdoors. Whether it was wandering a farm, hiking the woods looking for fishing spots or a bike ride through the park; I miss it all. I've been in the hospital for around six months due to complications with my heart and lungs from a go around with COVID virus a couple of years ago. Right now I'm in the hospital teathered to an oxygen source. Life can get boring and the scenery gets old. This channel and a few others help me through it. Hopefully I will get better and resume a more normal life at some point. Keep up the great content and my best to you and your family!

Your videos show the romance of owning a small farm on Just A Few Acres is not so romantic but a lot of hard work, You all are amazing .

Hey Pete, there is another way of using those click wheel tensioners. There is a hole in the end where the flat steel folds so push the strait wire through and keep going through the hole in the click wheel and leave it where you want it. After you have the wire where you want it go tighten the click wheel
. so you don't need to cut the wire and tie it off. This way you get a better flow of current. Cheers Jim in New Zealand
