What I love about Haaland the most is his sportsmanship. He clearly doesnât have an inflated ego, thanking each pundit one by one, and not even the slightest shake of the head when heâs taken off.
Exactly for a obsessed goalscorer like him, I think he enjoyed when his teammates score, peacly get subbed off every game when his team is comfortably winning.
He is set in his ways . He ainât mbappe who is being exploited by the Arabs.
Notice how he's answering questions properly he's not trolling like when journalist and presenters interview him coz he respects these pundits as they are former footballers he knows the understand the game.
Complete opposite personality to that mug mbappe
As he gets more fame and money and scores more goals he might develop an inflated ego, wouldn't be surprised if in 10 years we see him getting angry after being subbed off.
Heâs got better at interviews since his dortmund days đ
ehh, yea
Got that man city media training

He's only a young lad, give him a break :)

He did a quick cache cleanup to make sure he had enough ram to perform the interview đ

Shocking from Pep, couldâve broke a near impossible record
Why risk injury? Also, it is a sign of respect, why humiliate another team further? They are pushing for the premier league as well, might as well keep Halaand fit and get rid of the injury risk as stated earlier
More proof that Messi is the most protected player in football history.....
Pellagrini did the same with Aguero years ago, painful to think what could had happened
True, but imo, They wanted to sub him off to rest him for the FA Cup against Burnley
He didn't want to break Messi's record
His psyche for scoring goals is the best I've seen for a striker this young, scary to think what levels this guy could reach...
City Vs Madrid in the UCL final would be so epicđđđ
Brazilian ronaldo was better mate
@@GordyM99 yup, had won a World Cup and copa America by 26 years old.
@MOON MAN absolutely and his goal scoring unmatched, and nearly 3 years out out of the game from 1999 in a near career ending injury and still holds those records. Built different

He will go down as the most elite goalscorer of all time, the pure instinct he has near the box at this age is unreal and he can only get better

No city fun, but this guy is unbelievable sportsman, and the way how he shaked the hands of every person, shows the level of respect as a human. Congratulations đ
It impossible to hate on Haaland, coming from a gooner. Would have loved him at our club đ this guy is just pure class. Relentless. Skys the limit
He wouldnt downgrade.

Erling is a very simple man, he doesn't overcomplicate things. he knows what he needs to do and he does it đ€Ł
He's not really concerned with being a celebrity he just wants to be the best footballer in the world and he's on his way to achieving that
What canât he do. He is an extremely clinical striker and could be the key piece to a successful Man City champions league campaign

1:21 Poorly phrased question by Lescott. But, after watching Haaland since he was in Molde, he has tremendous ball anticipation, positioning and instinctive efficiency [he rarely takes too many touches]. He also has intangibles like, self-belief, tenacity and the ability to not dwell on missed chances or overlooked passes. Yes, he is a very good goalscorer, but those other aspects significantly contribute to making him so successful IMHO.
Spot on !
100% agree. Even when he doesn't score, look at his positioning on gundogans goal, he gave his teammates 2 or 3 opportunities in 5 seconds to feed him the ball in a goal scoring opportunity.
Just watching him, forget the ball, we see his movement and positioning, always moving. The defenders and defensive midfield are always busy with his movement. They can't settle. He gives maximum distraction.
This has got to be the most talkative he's ever been in a post-match interview in English
He is getting more and more comfortable in these settings and also talking English đ
I think at Dortmund he was trying to learn English and German simultaneously, learning multiple languages at the same time is difficult
I now understand why a lot of ppl love haaland. Such a down to earth guy.
Also had me wheezing
Nobody has ever scored 6 goals in one CL game, and pep takes him off after 61 min despite City not having a PL game this weekend. This was an historic opportunity that Haaland will most likely never get again. Absolutely shocking from Pep.

Man, this guy is a beast in front of goal. It would be really interesting what's next for him. Keep it up Haaland!
As a Neutral fan of this great sport, seeing how City played tonight. It wouldn't be surprising if they go and win it. All of them played their part and to see the quality and options they can bring on off the bench makes them a favourite to go all the way.
That's the problem with city, they play like this many times but somehow still find new ways to get eliminated in this competition.
The lack of fullbacks make city weak in my opinion. Yes they crush some opponents but if they find opponents excelling in wide areas like real or bayern they would be severely exposed
@@suryansdash5830 cause Pep think too much.

Pep made a big mistake taking him off, in a performance like that, a new CL record that would never be seen again would have unfolded.

Bundesliga teams thinking they were safe when Haaland left đđ
As a huge Messi fan, Pep should have left Haaland on to break the record
Pep doesnt care. He always sub Haaland off when he has the chance to score a hattrick or more. Pep is stealing goals and records from him which is sad. It was no need to take him off this game when he was so on. He would probably had scored 7 if he played 90 min. They have an international break now and it made no sense for him to do that, but I think it has todo with Pepâs ego sadly.
Messi and Ronaldo were never subbed off even if their team had a huge lead. Thats why they scored so many goals. Haaland doesnt get the same chance to score that many when he always gets subbed off when he scores goals because they have a big lead.
@@In_my_own_mind coz he would just wait for balls to come him in the remaining match rather then taking shots by himself he barely takes any long shots in many matches, just stop comparing him to the goats hes no where near them!

Not a City fan (I rather don't like them ;) ), but this lad is something else - he's so efficient, it's scary

I'm surprised Manchester City get away with spending so much money and now have a machine playing for them
I mean ur clearly delusional. United spent more Chelsea spent more and whoâs still out performing them đ€«
I understand why Pep took him off, but from a footballing perspective, it was an absolute crime to do so. The form City and Haaland were on, it looked like a go that he wouldâve scored another thereby breaking Messiâs record.

He is know the assessment, the place Leipzig has around germany is unbelievable and he as former that league is understand that
A reminder that even if Haaland scored 2 goals in every possible remaining game (18), he would end the season on 75 only just beating leo messi's 73 goals in the 11/12 season, and Messi is the only player in history to score 5 non penalty goals in a Champions League match.
A reminder that heâs only 22 and itâs his first season in a team which has constantly shown to have a playing style which takes some getting used to, which has also been playing without a striker
