For me nothing will beat halo 3 infection. Unpopular apparently but I felt it had the best balance for human and infected gameplay due to lack of abilities. Not to mention the pistol isn’t as strong, so it’s basically just a shotgun vs energy sword

But halo 3 custom infection has an obsession with zombies that die in a SMG shot to the toe or something their so weak and almost even give the survivors infinite ammo.
