1. Do I have to submit some kind of surety or guarantor to my employment that I'll serve for said period of time?
2. Does SBI send appointment letters or any other letters by post?
3. What happens if one is short of one or two documents?
1. For clerical job there is no surety kind of thing. For po also you need to serve a bond for certain amount and time.
2. Yes they send both offer Letter and appointment letter by registered post.
3. They give some extension before joining the services

That varies from zone to zone ... In general it comes within 45 days

Aapko mail aur letter mein bataya jayega,. In general apko kisi recognised lab se test karwake with report and bills submit karne hote hai, joining ke bad woh expenses reimburse kar Diya jata hai

Sir,after completion of DV and training.Suppose I get the appointment letter,but I get a district which I do not want.
Can I refuse to join on reporting day and hence reject the job without paying a month's salary?
