Also I have a hawk 150 and the motor makes a whine noise almost, is that normal or is it a high mile thing?
May be more of a transmission thing does it do it when it’s hot and cold? Make sure you got enough oil in the bike. Otherwise could possibly be the valves tapping?

Just bought the bike so I didn’t have a plate on it yet! Just a warning
