Hiking the Water Canyon Trail in Hildale, Utah

- Water Canyon Trail in Hildale, Utah is a beautiful hike that offers spectacular views of pools, slot-like passageways, waterfalls, and much more. One of the things we love about this hike is that you can tailor it to fit your abilities. If you prefer a fairly easy and beautiful hike, you can go up to the waterfall at the end of the slot canyon and turn back. From the waterfall to White Dome, the trail becomes strenuous. There are many sections along the trails that are fairly narrow with sheer drop-offs. Others will require scrambling with the use of both hands. However, the views are definitely a paid-off!

Those bushes you saw when you got started are indeed blackberry bushes, very sweet and refreshing snack midway through the hike when you go in season. Thank you for making this video and showing off my childhood memories so more can enjoy :D
Yumm! We will have to go back when it is in season! We are glad that we can bring back some happy memories. It is funny how something as simple as a video can take ya right back.
We hiked to the waterfall mid September, and due to time constraints we did the hike midday. The temperature definitely affects the difficulty of this hike. The elevation gain isn't bad at all like you said, but the heat will zap your energy if you're not used to it.
Yikes! Yea that sounds tough! Even though it is a canyon, there is probably plenty of time where you arent in the shade.

@@LiveThatAdventure We did end up driving out there, but did not have a chance to hike as it was already sunset by that time. That place is as beautiful and magical as your video shows. Maybe we will get to go back for the hike someday.

@@VoxelJackal Thanks man! It was one of my all time fav's! supposedly at certain times of year there is a ton more water... guess it makes sense being water canyon. It would be pretty wild running it in those conditions.

IS this road required high clearance?
It is a little bumpy but I dont think high clearence is manditory. I would definitely visit when it is dry though. After a rain, the road would be super slippery.
