I expect that to Google or not depends a lot on fields and specialty. Specialists cover a smaller field in depth.
GPs are probably different because they cover a broader field in less depth and will not know every nuance of every illness.
Still, there is a lot of rubbish on Google about any subject: law, medicine, engineering.
Google and AI won't replace experts for a very long time.
