I never seen using a baby wipe for marbling but I have used a dryer sheet. First it’s dry and second you can use it in the dryer then use it for painting. I tried to see if pulling apart a baby wipe just now would work and it had me wondering if you had seen the trick and maybe made a mistake on the choice of wipe/sheet

Not enough creators do Eldar and other Xenos terrain. The finished result looks great. Incredible job making the hand built parts harmonize with the prints. Youre a warrior.

Those Eldar and their buildings ended up really good! With Gondor and Terra having quite a bit of aesthetic similarities, making something as different in design as this can be a nice palate cleanser.
I love this so much. I just got my new resin printer, so now it and my FDM printer, I can really crank out the terrain and models. Your huge-scale builds are absolutely an inspiration, so thank you for making these videos. I get excited about tabletop gaming after watching your videos.
What would be cool with the modular factor of the palace is to have a game mode in which the palace shifts. Similar to the final books of the siege of terra. The warp flux causing the survivors to basically teleport randomly around the place. Probably a bit chaotic. But would be hilarious to just have the map suddenly shift around.

As someone who primarily plays necrons... metallic sharpies are great, yes. I haven't even touched a paint brush before starting another army because of how well metallic sharpies work.
Oh woahhhhhhhhhh that would be crazy! Lot sof different ways to look at it, maybe like the way the city under the Webway in the Palace is described, or lots of LEDs and infinity mirrors to make some portals and stuff!
I would love to see u do something with Mel, the terrain tutor. He and u have a lot in common, both the love of terrain but apparently also battling with mental issues...❤😊

This is giving me ideas...thanks for the marbling tips for scenery...if I ever use this to make a map like this for reasons. Kitbashing Roman architecture with art deco ...with hints of ancient Aeldari architecture hidden in plain sight (before the fall) has been bouncing around in my head for a while. I am not experienced enough to yet attempt such an endeavor though maybe I will one day Stilicho will see such happen. The background details would make for an excellent campaign as well.
This is awesome! If you have the ability, I would love to see and Epic Scale battle on the palace board, cause it feels like it's designed for that scale.
Love your dedication to your craft. Love how 40k lore alows for such a bizzare sci-fi / fantasy concept to be completely plausible. Maybe not on the actual imperial palace itself... ... ... that feels a bit too lore bending... ... ... but there are countless random worlds filled with vast architecture. Maybe a vainglorious planatary govener ordered his serfs to make an exact replica of ghe imperial palsce on his eorld, and that's ehat the Eldar have phased into. 😋
Great video. I love this series. Question, are the Fire Dragons finecast? its so odd... I have tons of these figures and the poses match but the figures are in metal. Yes, I am old and the figures may have been the original release of Eldar Aspect Warriors. Keep up the great work. I love all this stuff. It fires the imagination!
