> Called the Iron Hands
> Looks inside
> Necrodermis
some people speculate the wyrm that Ferrus Manus killed on Medusa was actually a C'tan or Necron construct, and that his own hands are thus coated with Necrodermis and not iron, which I'm guessing is the Dornian Heresy canon
They now call them "Necro Hands"
@@nikpapado9785 that's what they call my uncle in prison
@@sayanchandaroy7420 It's not a speculation. It was a Necron creature he did kill, and it is Necrodermis on his arms. That's canon.
@@sayanchandaroy7420 I know its a couple of weeks later, but they are confirmed to be Necrodermis. In the End and the Death part 2 Sanguinius is quoted as calling Ferrus Manus's metal hands "Necrodermis."
Dornian Heresy Word Bearers would be amazing.
Absolutely. I was so inspired by Pete's DH work that I made a loyalist Primaris version of the Ashen Circle squad
they attached ultra advanced necron phase blades to... industrial clamps
peak imperium right there
Judging by that thumbnail, the Necrons got those Iron Hands to work out at the gym, because that blurred out model looks absolutely RIPPED.
They on that Necrontyr grindset 💪
The flesh is weak, why go to gym when you can go to robotics laboratory instead?
There is only one thing I would change about this model: Adding more black. It's a really cool model but the only thing that screams "Iron Hands" is that there's that one black shoulder pad with their icon on it. I think painting more black on the plates and a healthy sprinkling of Iron Hands iconography would really push it to "Yes, this was once an Iron Hands Astarte."
This is the Iron Hands 30k scheme, not 40k.
@@clinch4402the 30k and 40k schemes of the iron hands are the same
@@clinch4402 However, it still lacks a bit of black
@@clinch4402so, caution striping?
@@michaelsorensen7567 You're thinking of Iron Warriors. They had the hazard stripe scheme.
Since the Dornian Heresy's spin on Guilliman is basically that no one ever talked him out of Imperium Secundus, there's an opportunity here to be cheeky by calling the secessionist Guilliman's technologically advanced Ultramarines "Secundus Space Marines".
heresy on an order we've never seen before
Seriously. I love how the complete absence of xenos-allied astartes in the lore implies that Space Marines would rather serve the forces of Hell than defect to any aliens.
Some more alternate heresy Primarchs would be amazing i think
We’re gonna need some more 40K Primarch releases
Always love seeing your Alt-Heresy conversions. With these new plastic Mechanicum bits though, I was wondering if you'd consider making an Iron Warriors/Vastorr Daemon Prince. I think it would serve as a nice compliment to this wonderful metal behemoth of yours.
New plastic Mechanicum parts make it feel like there could be a Vashtorr inspired troop unit in some capacity
Man I am lovin this Dornian Heresy stuff. I wonder what the Sallies would look like
YEAH! HELL YEAH! WE LOVE IRON HANDS! GET EXCITED!
ALSO THE DORNIAN HERESY! THAT’S ALSO COOL I LOVE ALTERNATIVE HERESIES!
Evil Skarbrand reaction
Would LOVE to see what you woud do with an Lion Herersy Vulkan.
He ate an Avatar of Khain and became a minor warp god of the forge, overthrowing Vashtorr.
I'd definitely be down to see some Lionel Heresy conversions!
The Flesh is weak. But this kitbash isnt. Awesome to see some Iron Hands love even if its Dornian Heresy. This series is fantastic
Always love these conversions, and Iron Hands are one of my favorite Loyalist chapters! And Necrons are one of my favorite Xenos species too! Awesome stuff all around.
As a fan of the Slaaneshi White Scars thematically, I've never seen a really inspiring take on their bikers. I'd love to see what you could come up with by pulling in their raiding Mongolian styles combined with the princess of excess.
Japanese Bōsōzoku biker aesthetic mixed with bondage gear?
Not Dornian Heresy, but since everyone is talking about how the Necromunda Orrus armor looks Necronic, I’d like to see you build one with only Necron parts!
thanks for making more Dornian Heresy minis my friend. glad you did one with the new admech kit
This is incredible. I've just made my first standard unit of Dornian Heresy Iron Hands as a little tester. This couldn't have come at a better time because once the main unit is done, I'll move on to making this! Cheers Pete
You should take on the Robutian Heresy, I have a feeling your take on chaos ultras would be too good!
The great Smurfing XD
Ever since first looking into the lore I thought a Necron-allied Iron Hands splinter would be REALLY cool, and after seeing this? I feel validated lmao.
Bloody gorgeous. The Dornian Heresy has long intrigued me and this is a great example of the concept. I'd like a bit of glow in that ammo belt though, the back is lacking some of that green pop.
For some reason, I read the title as nurgle corruped so I was waiting the entire time for the nurgle part lol
Dam. This is such a cool theme for a dark mechanicum army. 😮
Phenomenal paint job and kitbash as always 😊
I have two ideas, you're free to use either.
1) Perturabo Daemon Primarch fused to a Shadowsword tank. His personal transport was a heavily converted Shadowsword named The Tormentor, so seeing him fused to it after riding it into battle for 10 thousand years would look pretty cool.
2) Corvus Corax based on the model for Magnus the Red. Black armor, white/grey skin. Even better, since Corvus's low states he's mutated from his time in the Warp, you can use the same model for the main timeline AND the Dornian Heresy.
Seriously cool conversion! I've been wanting to make an Iron Warrior Daemon Prince who's mostly mechanical and I love the idea of using this guy as a base!
-Khorne Space Wolves Berzerker or Terminator.
-Ultramarines with T'au Technology (Tech Heresy).
-Nurgle Chunky Blood Angel Space Marines.
-Slaaneshi White Scars Biker.
WOO, LOVE IRON HANDS AND NECRONS. NICE
This is not heresy, it's curiosity.
It’d be pretty awesome if you did a Roboutian Heresy model one day, it’d be cool to see Slaaneshi Sanguinius, Khornate Dorn, or whatever the Deep Warp daemon Corax becomes.
Those would be cool
I'd love to see Dornian-style Ultramarines! Like a Robotey Gue'laman. Crisis suit bits could be the right scale!
As an iron hands player, yes we exist. I present this as an argument to say we deserve to be a codex divergent chapter.
I feel the model looks very dreadnoughty - experimental, Xeno tech heresy dreadnought
A basic dornian hersey iron hands marine would be a welcome conversion. I struggle with it.
I personally would love your take on a corrupted Vulkan. I’ve seen him depicted as a massive daemonic dragon, tho I have no idea how you’d turn that into a model.
My thought was maybe using Angron as a base, but you’ve already done that with Russ, so I’d be interested to see your take!
This is a cool idea to do for a Vashtor aligned Iron Warrior Demon Prince. I do feel the arms are in the wrong sides. The designed for the blades to work properly would want them mounted on the bottom side of the arm. Yes, yes, power weapons don’t need gravity to add to the cutting force, but to the eye, the curves still track with modern day axe blades, which would use the weight of the arm to help assist gravity carry the blade they. The way they are now is not really usable for how the arm looks like it would swing.
A Dornian Heresy version of Roboute Guilliman after he returns to Ultramar Segmentum to start an alternate Era Indomitus, I think would be cool. Especially given all the technological advancement and xenos reverse engineering that Ultramar Segmentum has done up to the 40th millennium.
Really awesome conversion!! The paint pulled it together beautifully 😊😊😊
Just had an idea for Ferrus Corrupted using bits from Vashtorr, Obliterators, and Lohkust Heavy Destroyer
Honestly loving these kitbashea so much
I've been thinking of picking up one of these to kitbash into an Excindio, and I'm definitely going to be taking some inspiration from this if I do. Absolutely stunning conversion!
I love your Nurgle Sanguinius, still waiting for Jaghatai conversion.
Space Marines being corrupted by non-chaos factions is such a cool idea, I'd love to see a Tau or Tyranid Marine
Incredible. My only note is that for the glowing orbs i apply progressive white glazes towards the center and then cover with tesseract glow, i think it gives a really nice effect.
Hell yeah more Dornian heresy. Please do more corrupted versions of loyalists as theyre always so cool
Just finished watching "The Tithes" and would probably be super easy but I'd love to see one arm Sa'kan made into a model like Titus.
having gone over some of your older videos (especially the kitbash/conversion ones), it's really cool to see just how much more impressive your already good painting skills have gotten over the last couple years.
unrelated to compliments, i wonder how you'd handle a 1 hour - 10 hours - 100 hours challenge video for a theme of kitbashed/painted minis
Wicked! Iron hands are my favorite Legion. Its cool to see them on the side of chaos.
I really love when you do organic kitbashes like monsters and such. Thanks, you're amazingly talented!
Best kitbash videos around. I await the day for the next Horus heresy legion conversion , we need some Imperial Fist action brother.
I would actually love to see these guys as a full army from you!
This is wicked cool, your builds always look awesome. You should do some chaos corrupted greenskins! If we're going non canon we gotta bring da boyz!
Great conversion, love to see some more Necron related builds!
Would love to see a base marine/necron! I've been thinking about making my necron killteam based on the Dornian Iron Hands and your guidance would be amazing
Some interesting kitbashing I've done is combining Necron and Tyranids.
The lore in my head is that one of the Necron Dynasties captured some tyranids and experimented on them to see if the Tyranids could be used to reverse the biotransferance.
Instead of reversing it in the best case scenario it fused necron and tyranid together. In the worst case the hive mind took control of a Necron and escaped
This was absolutely incredible. I can't wait to see what Dorian heresy kitbash next 🤩
Hugh Fan of the Iron Hands. They were my first army when I got into 40k. Ironically Necrons were my second :)
Bro made a Dreadnought overtaken by Necron tech and thought we wouldn't notice.
Literally perfectly timed as I was doing my own versions of these lads!
You could kinda run a dornian heresy iron hands themed army in horus heresy if you play blackshields and use the oaths that turn your marines into robots and the one that gives them xeno weapons
Wow Pete. Great conversion and loved the paint job. The Dornian heresy seems to give you a lot of freedom for artistic licence. Great video and congrats on another amazing conversion.
Iron Hands attention, Xenos heresy representation, Necron love, Yep I'm listening.
Looks great! That brass recipe is top notch. My first kitbash was a necron corrupted techpriest, I’d love to see your take on that
I'd love to see you do more work on Alternative Heresy....Honestly I'd love to come do a workshop with you to learn a little how to paint better but in a more real time line I'd love to see more Alternative Heresy. Could do with alternative Heresy Blood Angels - might be fun!
This has given me some ideas for a xenoblade wielding Deathwatch dreadnought.
I'd love to see you take on the Dornian Heresy Ultramarines. Maybe a Terminator wielding a Tau flamer, fusion blaster or ion gun and a Votann plasma axe for melee?
Cannot wait for you to do the remaining Dornian Heresy legions. I hope you do some Raven Guard next!
Great Video, as usual. I love all the Inspiration I get from your stuff. I also cant wait for the next Video on the raptors army
I can't help but feel it needs more h.r. giger biomechanical goodness to differentiate it from regular necron stuff
Ferrus had some necrodermis hands, why not go a little further?
I didn’t realize how immense the void dragon makes you.
Wow looks wicked. All works together really well
Pete that looks so friggen awesome well done!
Wow, this new Warhammer plus kitbashing series is pretty cool
This conversion is so good! A necron dreadnought would be so cool I'd imagine
I'd love to see a loyalist Peterabo or Warmaster Dorn himself
This could totally be an iron kin for leagues of Votann
He looks really great! Excellent work as always. 😍
Hey @petethewargamer you're necron iron hand is on the warhammer community post about painting mechanicum if you weren't aware
I think some Dornian heresy Ultramarines would be interesting seeing as they aren’t chaos corruption either but I’m not sure what you’d use to get the more progressive look of the legion in that setting.
I WOULD enjoy seeing your Demon Primarch Khan. Especially how to make it more Space Marine-y.
Man this is so inspiring I might have to try to make my own
Would love to see a Dornian Heresy White Scar eventually, Im only slightly aware of the lore of the alternate timeline, but do love me some White Scars
The result is fantastic!!
The iron hands slogan of 'the flesh is weak' is actually an abbreviated version of the fill phrase 'the flesh is weak, but deads are eternal'. Its about the iron hands willingness to sacrifise to do the right thing and leave lasting deeds, not about making themselves mechanical abominations
I like this kitbashing idea, for some deathwatch dreads
4:13 this gives me some heavy Contemptor vibes. Especially the head appearing to only be there for aesthetic reasons i.e, being a simulacrum instead of the biological head itself.
This turned is beautiful 👍👍
man like a dornian heresy dark angel dread wing guy, like a chaos Marduk Sedras or something would be interesting. Awesome Iron Hands tho!
'cause dreadwing are already a little bit fuckin' evil and grim
That'd be so rad!!!
Dornian heresy is underrepresented in minis.
I would love to see how you would put together a basic troop for this army
It looks amazing!
Would love to see Dornian heresy Ultramarines
Blend of tau and imperial technology
Here for some Dornian Heresy slaaneshi White Scars!!
You actually made iron hands look interesting and cool
As if they ever looked lame? Bionics are pretty rad.
This is the sickest thing I’ve ever seen ever
Unless i missed it, you really should make a play list of all the Dornian Heresy builds. Youve got quite a few.
Insane and glorious. I love it!
PLEASE, PLEASE DO A KITBASH OF GABRIEL SETH! It would be perfect for the new death company box release!
since the Iron hand basically want to be robots and the Necrons have been trying to transfer their consciousness into Space marine bodies, why haven't a group of them gone rogue and tried working together to essentially swap bodies? i'm sure there would be a member of the Mechanicus who'd lend a metal clawed hand as well.
