I don't know what dolls you have seen that have 'something' the resembles female anatomy. I am from America so that could explain the difference in our experiences, but all the dolls I have ever seen that were either intended to be female or not otherwise indicated to be male were flat and smooth with a featureless groin area. At most there may be a horizontal seam were the plastic was joined between the legs on cheaper dolls and some had a hole drilled in them directly between the legs if the doll was intended to wet/soil its diaper or use a toilet. Never was there anything that resembled female anatomy in any of these dolls. I owned several kinds of dolls growing up - all female or basically female as only clothes differated the sexes of doll in the 80s and 90s, when I owned dolls the most. None of the dolls I grew up with or have seen since have had anything that resembled female or male anatomy without being clearly marked as being anatomically correct. Those that were intended to be realistic still lacked some key details as the one female baby doll fat rolls in her groin and no implied holes or actual holes. The male baby doll (baby alive boy doll) had a molded mound with a tiny stub on end barely stuck out in the same place any other doll would have been flat and had a much larger hole. Pressing a button on the doll's belly made any liquid inside the doll to come out his stub/penis. It was far less realistic than what the boy LOL dolls have. I would think that having all dolls that wet just a hole and no molded parts is easier for emptying liquid form inside a doll and cheaper to make. I've noticed that anatomically correct male dolls go in and out of fashion. I did want one as a child for a novelty of it, but not all children want their toys to have that degree of realism. Over all I agree that if a doll is made for children and is anatomically correct in some form it should be made very clear so parents and children are not surprised by it after buying the toy.

I personally have absolutely no problem with anatomically correct toys. I think they all should be that way so that kids know that our bodies are normal and natural an not everyone's looks the same. HOWEVER, knowing that not all families feel this way, doing this without warning parents on the box and in the ads is unforgivable. It doesn''t matter to me that I don't think the toys o the kids any harm. It upset the hell out of some parents, and that's enough reason for a simple warning label to me. I don't know what dolls you have seen that have 'something' the resembles female anatomy. I am from America so that could explain the difference in our experiences, but all the dolls I have ever seen that were either intended to be female or not otherwise indicated to be male were flat and smooth with a featureless groin area. At most there may be a horizontal seam were the plastic was joined between the legs on cheaper dolls and some had a hole drilled in them directly between the legs if the doll was intended to wet/soil its diaper or use a toilet. Never was there anything that resembled female anatomy in any of these dolls. I owned several kinds of dolls growing up - all female or basically female as only clothes differated the sexes of doll in the 80s and 90s, when I owned dolls the most.
None of the dolls I grew up with or have seen since have had anything that resembled female or male anatomy without being clearly marked as being anatomically correct. Those that were intended to be realistic still lacked some key details as the one female baby doll fat rolls in her groin and no implied holes or actual holes. The male baby doll (baby alive boy doll) had a molded mound with a tiny stub on end barely stuck out in the same place any other doll would have been flat and had a much larger hole. Pressing a button on the doll's belly made any liquid inside the doll to come out his stub/penis. It was far less realistic than what the boy LOL dolls have.
I would think that having all dolls that wet just a hole and no molded parts is easier for emptying liquid form inside a doll and cheaper to make. I've noticed that anatomically correct male dolls go in and out of fashion. I did want one as a child for a novelty of it, but not all children want their toys to have that degree of realism. Over all I agree that if a doll is made for children and is anatomically correct in some form it should be made very clear so parents and children are not surprised by it after buying the toy.
