Just so u know, with the bunny hopping, you can also turn using air strafing! If you stop pushing forward, you can actually continuously bunny hop, just by nailing the timing. If you combine that with turning your camera, and push your movement thumbstick left or right with it (but not forward!) you can keep momentum, and have a lot of control! (There's tons of guides if u don't know what air strafing is lol, I'm not the best explainer)

U can also flick strafe or just tap strafe as horizon on controller

Hey controller apex players so i just found this out but for the super glide i slowed the video down to the the button timing and its actually JUMP THEN SLIDE but almost at the same time the moment you get to the top. Not SLIDE JUMP. Im actually able to pull it off pretty consistently after looking at this.
Great guide. Thanks for this. Just wanted to mention I thought it was funny when you're like "use auto-sprint to decrease stick drift" then 5 seconds later "set crouch to left-js click" which is a button we use often for all movements haha

If you have the newer Xbox controller with back panels you can set them a your jump and crouch button so you can aim shoot and do movement quite easily
I just wanna note that I've played claw my whole life. if you do too, setting crouch to circle, and hold to crouch, you can do these pretty easily. I love this vid, had no idea I could do any of these

One of my Running tips is watch your hands when you sprint. After you see left and right pop up your good for a slide, 3 pops you get a better one

My biggest question for controller is the right thumbstick..how do you turn fast and do hitscan since it only have one sensitivity at a time unless we do hip fire..so does that mean your ads should be set to low sensitivity? Thank you

Small thing I've done that really helps movement recently is basically playing evolved. Its been rough accidentally popping abilities going to jump by muscle memory but after afew hours I'm range and a couple matches was it's pretty comfortable. It helps with supergliding and any jumping movement tech for people that don't play claw (Like myself. I can but I dislike how it makes my hands feel after long sessions) I've found my jumping flicks and overall movement improving because I can now keep my thumb on the left stick and look around at the same time I jump

I still use b to crouch based of muscle memory from other games and I agree with the claw my pointer fingers just feel like they’re in a awkward spot when I’m playing
Me too man it took me a few weeks to get used to back in season 15 but movement has become much more consistent after getting it down
Use custom binds and basically use evolved but trade your ping button with ability

Says to turn auto sprint on to avoid stuck drift and then in the same breath says to use l3 for crouch. Won’t that cause the same issue?

Esidi do u need to play claw for the zip strayf thing?
I will recommend for octane mains when you heal hit a stim and bunny hop around corners it can be hard to master or even learn but its very good to know and practice
i'm confused, when bunny hopping do you hold crouch and spam jump after the slide or do you just spam jump??? (please help i need tips)

Couple corrections: you don't need to be looking perpindicular to a wall to wall bounce, it just has to be at a 45° or smaller, the static wall bounce will only actually bounce you up if you're at the exact correct distance (since the height of your jump is the main factor in landing wall bounces) or if you do jump fatigue bounces, flick strafing off a pad is most useful if you're getting lasered off the jump because the harsh redirect of momentum breaks the aim assist bubble and they have to re-flick onto you (or just quick flick and then track again on a mouse) which is exactly the reason for tap staffing in the first place...
to do an actual flick strafe you need to start the setup for the strafe before you hit the pad which is why I don't find it very useful unless you want to show off
L3 on jump and R3 on crouch alows me to jump-slide & slide jump while still in control in ADS
i use right stick jump so should i use left sick crouch instead of circle
I want to holster my weapon in fights but I have this problem where the button won’t register on my controller when I try to unholster and I end up getting one clipped, does anyone know how to fix this
I play claw so I keep my buttons on default, can hit abyx with my pointer while middle finger is on the trigger and thumb still on joystick. I still can’t find a button layout that would nice for someone who plays claw.?.?/?!?!?

@@ericevenson987 that is normal on a low deadzone, if it makes aiming difficult then you should move the deadzone up

Bro says have auto sprint on bcs when u push ur stick often it causes stick drift, next step toggle crouch on you left stick

ok so we turn on auto sprint to avoid stick drift, but then we bind a button to our stick that we have to click more consitently? is the point of this to speed up our stick drift?
You mentioned stick drift with clicking to sprint but then in next sentence you say you use analog to crouch spam 🤷♂️ would that not also contribute to stick drift?

i’m struggling to wall jump over the wall, i hold forward and have tried the C motion and i always bounce away from it

Great guide! Not sure if you mentioned it in the comments already, but what sens / curve do you run? I’m currently using 4:4 classic, wondering if it’s hindering some of these moves
Alc settings (full settings vid on my channel) but i am switching over to 4-3 linear
Some of the movement tech might feel harder because you move slower but 4-4 classic is reliable

Are you using claw on controller ? Because it looks like your moving your right joy stick and pressing the button at the same time which you can’t do holding it normally.
I can perfectly spam crouch while using B and aim at the same time, but that’s just because I use claw😅

I sometimes use paddles or I have a really weird hand position where I use my left thumb on the right thumbstick and use my right hand to hit the jump and interact buttonsb

Honestly, the L3 as crouch thing is really smart, my controller right now though is kind of shit so I have to get a new one, fr though I used R3 as crouch and that makes it a lot harder to aim
Have jump as left stick and crouch as right stick
My tip for super gliding to avoid ruining your hands use a custom lay out set one joystick as jump and the other as crouch and instead of making it so fast actually way till your air bound after mantling then crouch yeah you wont get the big boost but you will get a boost and it actually still gives you some movement
Good idea but I by pass this by using right stick as crouch my triggers are flipped and I use l2 to jum

I just use LB (L1) to jump and R3 to crouch and that makes it easy
Do you use L3 crouch to protect your controller R3 over time ? since i’ve always used R3 for crouching is it worth the transition ??

I put jump on RB on controller so I can aim turn my screen crouch shoot and jump and the same time.
So don’t have sprint on to not press the bottom to get rid of possible stick drift but have it as crouch, so you have to spam it more than you would with Sprint and cause stick drift faster… makes sense

For the zipline strafe, how do you hold X, tap A, and turn around at the same time?

Using bumper jumper tactical makes things a lot easier but you'll get stick drift on the right stick pretty fast

You can bunny hop backwards too
about supergliding, alot of people think the higher frames you have, the harder it is, but actually its easier, you get a much smoother understanding of when to push jump and crouch at the same time, the best fps is probabaly between 150-240
Completely incorrect, it is flat out more difficult to get the timing... it's a 3 or 4 frame window. At 60 frames that's at best a 66.66ms window, while 150fps is a 26.66ms window, and 240 fps is a 16.66ms window. For context a blink is somewhere between 100ms and 400ms
facts, supergliding is easier to execute on low fps
Is he doing this using the claw on his controller?
Are you using a mouse and keyboard to show this on a controller? I can see the right stick moving while you are pressing a or b. The only explanation is you are playing claw?
for controller presets i will recommend *ninja* thats way more easier for movement

If your wall jumping at an angle you have to turn into the wall at the same angle but opposite and it's possible

If you want to super jump off of a straight zip you have to be touching the ground when you do it but press XAA really fast and if you do it right you should fly really high in the air

On the topic of bunny hopping, I've basically abandoned it because the hold to crouch always prevents me from jump sliding. I have to let go of crouch, thereby standing up and loosing all my momentum, defeating the whole purpose. Maybe I just don't get it but I can't jump from a crouch with hold to crouch.
I recommend swapping your button layout (if on Xbox idk how efficient for PlayStation) but I have my rb as my jump my lb as my reload/interact and my right stick is my crouch it took about 2 weeks too adjust and get in every scenario (aka canceling a revive , and other weird specific scenarios) but yeah I highly recommended I’ll try too find the video I found but the als I’m a big fan of as well more of a fun als then flicky or AiMbOt SeTtInGs hope I helped :)
@@nic_conceited7199 I appreciate the advice. I actually have paddles on my controller so my crouch and jump are on those. Thinking about it that might be the problem. I'll have to test it out and switch my crouch over to see if that helps.
@@nic_conceited7199 update that did the trick! Woth that one move I can b hop now! And all the other things although I'm gonna have to spend days in the firing range retraining my hands. Muscle memory is good all the way until it remembers wrong.
