    In this video we take the Ford Ranger XLT down to Tyrepower Northlakes for a suspension upgrade. We chose a Dobinsons IMS 2 inch Lift and also had new Falkin All Terrain Wildpeak tyres fitted

      Hahaaha thanks. Yes you would think I would catch up to Jon by now. He always seems to do that lol. Tells me a very good reason why we NEED to do it and I fall hook,line and sinker everytime

      Hi Brian and thanks for watching. Yes we did measurements and yes we definitely got a wheel alignment and also front extended sway bar links. Measurements are from the centre of the wheel to the bottom of the guard - front measured @ 550 before and 645 after - rear measured @585 before and 650 after. Tyres are now 32inch instead of 30 inch. I will have to find the receipt for the price, cant remember that

    Hello Jon and Tracie, the Ranger looks great. Wow you have done only15,000 klms since you got the Ranger and have to replace springs and shocks. Safety has no price, better to be safe than sorry. Till next week safe travels. Cheers Chris.

      Thanks Chris, best investment ever. Your right there, safety is so important particularly the amount of driving we have planned for 2023

    Hey team, I have found your channel and have been enjoying the content.
    Just a quick question regarding the lift kit, and the effect on the height of the trailer coupling, did you have to adjust the height of the coupling to keep the Van level or did the 70mm difference in height not make a great difference to the height when coupled up?

      @onlyleavingfootprints  Před rokem +1

      Hi there, thanks for watching. With the standard suspension the car actually dropped about 40mm so once we got the lift put on the van sits perfectly straight

    Hi Guys if the suspension upgrade now done is it good enough(the right suspension) for a gvm upgrade if you need to or if you want a upgrade gvm like me paid $2000 for springs and shocks on the rear of my 2012 ranger was told that if I wanted to upgrade that they would replace all suspension again for their requirements so hope you don’t get in that situation cheers Rodjenny

      Hi Rod, thanks for watching. So yes we have the right shocks and springs for a small GVM upgrade however we don't need one as all the weights are good for our needs

      Its taken us awhile to get used to it. We loved our Mitsubishi Pajero and were sad to have had to sell it but the Ford Ranger is doing great and we love driving it.
