I honestly think wizard is underrated, just musky and other units outclass it because they are cheaper. Make wiz do slightly less damage but making him 4 elixir would be insane
Personally I would keep wizard at 5 elixir but make the range the same as dart goblin, that would make it easier to get value for 5 elixir with it.

i think slightly increasing health of wizard while keeping it 5 would be good. or maybe like a -0.1 second hit speed.
wizard is the only card I genuinely don’t know what to do with in terms of balancing, in draft it’s actually not a bad pick. It’s just outclassed by the other ranged units which makes it almost impossible to balance

while playing the gob hut mirror deck with fireball i learned a fireball and a mirrored fireball destroys anything an egolem player can place at the bridge and some
Freeze is annoying because it can change the pace of a match. You can slow momentum, by yourself time, or capitalize on offense. Not to mention the element of surprise if you don't use it, or the anxiety of when are you going to use it if you have before.

That connection with the giant skeleton with the fisherman is insane. How would you be able to stop such a thing?
Try to kite it away with an RG. He wouldn't have had a hard time dealing with it if he wasn't panicking. Boss saw he goofed and capitalized on his panic.

You can just swap Wizard in every deck with Executioner and its straight up better and even more in decks with Tornado. Or just forgo a splasher because you have spells and go for Queen or Musk. Both are just straight up better than Wiz. He really needs a rework, maybe 4 elixir and a bit less damage so Musk has much higher DPS but Wizard the AOE Damage or make him tankier and be able to survive Fireball + Log like the Archer Queen and nerf his damage a bit.
I am not seeing "Denisito" on top ladder after Giant Skeleton got that bomb damage nerf to troops. He hit #1 with this deck it's insane 🙂
In the last game you should've activated king from the start with the goblins

Wizard is so underrated. You cant fully counter wizard with skeletons/goblins/mega minion/minions/bats/barb barrel and one shots spirit
Also he is great against beatdown decks like golem/giant/lava....
Goblins, Mega Minion, Barb Barrel, and Bats can all fully counter him if placed properly.

I think he's fairly well rated:
Here's all the reasons I can think of why he's bad:
- Dies to fireball unless they're low on elixer
- Has less range than musk, and musk decks come with cycle cards that deal with swarm
- He costs 5 elixer, and takes out pushes quickly, but then you have less time to build a counterpush then with musk
- He's strong against beatdown, but beatdown usually come with counters to ranged troops, making Wizard a pretty bad choice here
- He's expensive for stopping smaller pushes, where musk would've done the same job
In other words, he's cool and pretty good, but due to his cost, almost completely outclassed by musk in any deck
The only reason this deck works is because nado pairs well with him, and the deck was just built around that (probably why the giant skele is there). Like, in any other deck, you'd just pair nado with exe
@@skyblock64 mega minion can kill him if he has another target which means wizard will get value before mega minion kills him. Bats and goblins in good placement can counter him if he is alone at the bridge so tower takes hits against him

Why Wiz over Executioner?
well wizard can be one of the best cards his health and damage are more than ice wizard and electro wizard and he can kill cards like minions and eskeletons with only a few attacks so he can be a good support for pekka or other cards,and it can makes players angry if you use it well for example i use this card with electro wizard and magic archer in my deck for example when enemy used his fire ball for my magic archer i use wizard and with this kind of playing i even defeated hoge rider 2.6 cycle.😂😂😂😂
Been using this deck for ages and got to ultimate champion and 7500 with it. It’s actually not a bad deck

Why not just replace him with executioner? There's even tornado in this deck
You could try it, but the guy on top ladder always uses it with wizard
If I have to guess, it's probably because he synergizes better in this deck than executioner especially since a lot of the advantages that executioner has over the wizard are accounted for by the other cards in this deck. E.g. You already have two tanks in this deck so tankiness isn't as important. Exe is better at clearing massive pushes but not as good against small spam groups (just like the giant skele in this deck) but wizard is vice versa. And I think most importantly, wiz brings the dps which the deck lacks (skarmy gets easily spell countered). And even if wiz gets fireballed or poisoned (the latter of which will be used less in the upcoming meta) you've got two tanks to put in front of him and using a small spell to finish the wiz may give an opportunity for the skarmy to thrive. But yeah, overall it looks like this deck was specifically built to complement the wizard.

Skeleton king is one of the best drill counter, just like bowler and dark p it can't be pushed back.
Ghost or bomber are the best counters bcs they offer e positive trade

@@hondurasen3632 It matters my friend, if you haven't played top ladder then it makes sense you don't know,, they are overcommiting but getting damage atleast. There defense is so strong that they get away after overcommiting. Or atleast that was the scenario when drill was pretty strong in the meta, now in meta its kinda weak.
@@shivam2546 i am not either a top ladder player or a midladder player. I faced the best romanian players of this game. Yea for sure they are not drill players but i can understand certain things
