- Had to buy a jump box for the truck and after searching around online I found the most powerful brand in my opinion. NOCO boost X gbx155 it’s a powerful unit that has all the power necessary to crank a semi truck.

Wonderful video. I read about the device and I came across this in their description "Designed for gas engines up to 10.0 Liters and diesel engines up to 8.0 Liters for cars, boats, lawn mowers and more". My truck is 14.8L freightliner.
Gonna get me one. Jumper cables can't help if your alone.

Also just for info you can always hook the to the power on the alternator and ground on the alternator body or frame to jump if you don't have the jump pegs on the frame

Interesting that this is a 12V pack and it worked well. I always thought trucks took 24V. Don’t want to turn the truck into charcoal so I will try 12V high amps first. Worst case is I have a great jump box for everything 12V.

Noco actually has a more powerful jumpers called the boost max. Good luck finding on tho and they are super expensive

their website says 155 is good up to 7 or 8L diesel but depends how dead is your battery

If the battery is completely dead it’s not helping … you need a noco250
Are the big trucks in the us not 24v?
Nah they are all 12v systems usually 3/4 batteries in parallel.
You should have a APU to keep your batteries
charged.
My apu just went out and my batteries drained the same night…still worth buying this product👌🏽
Same as here.even though I have APU on my truck,I still buy it as b plan.
Who’s gonna keep an apu on for four month and keep filling it every month
@@alphawolf8070 APU has a fuel line to your fuel tank and it monitors your batteries .
