Hey Phil! It's Celestina. I'm so excited for this new journey. Of course I'd love to continue to do Amazing Race with McKenna but I've always wanted to do a Top Chef podcast. Would be super cool to do something like this for this pod.

Second Chances 2 is going to be very fun! There is a very good chance that a sports-specific show will arrive in the future. For now, Phil and Will Show will be where we do all our sports talk!

I'd love to hear the Survivor Specialists watch & discuss Australian Survivor, possibly starting with the Heroes vs. Villains season. It has everything this new era of Survivor is missing - physical challenges, longer time on the island (47 days!), amazing rewards that are actually worth playing for, twists that give the players agency, and nobody loses their vote! HvV has top tier characters and gameplay and it's one of my new favorite seasons of the entire franchise. I think you'd really enjoy it Phil!
Fair warning though, once you watch AU Survivor, it's really hard to go back to US Survivor...

@@survivorspecialists 🙏🙏🙏 if you do start with HvV, there is a returning winner, so their previous season (Brain vs. Brawn - which is also awesome btw) does get spoiled. I didn't mind when I watched though because then I wanted to check out Brain vs. Brawn since I enjoyed all the returning players from that season. I really hope you check out Australian Survivor!
Still related to survivor, but maybe you and Will can redo the non-winner ranking? Cause it's been soo long and there's a lot new potential players to include. Or discuss some of the best or worse final tribal council performances?

Hey Phil! Great news for the channel. I’ve listened since MvGx but never took the time to actually leave a comment since I am on the West Coast and never get the chance to hop into live streams. I would argue this channel is the one on YT I have watched for the longest amount over the years cause it’s one of the few I watch continuously for years. While I love the Survivor stuff, some of my favorite podcasts you guys have done were the college football pickems. As a sports guy they hit such a good itch for me to just turn on and enjoy hearing you guys have fun talk about sports. So hearing that it’s kinda be evolved into coming back in a different capacity is truly awesome. So excited for the future!

I have listened to your Survivor podcasts since you started as Phil & Will, enjoyed all the years with Alexa, and plan to keep listening for what's next. Thanks for your passion and dedication to producing your show. It is a great alternative to the OG Know-It-Alls and yours is the only other Survivor podcast besides Rob's I make time for. (Sorry, Jeff!)
Regarding your new channel directions, I think filling your channel with the same type of Amazing Race, Big Brother, etc. content is redundant to other channels, and isn't particularly appealing to someone like me. (Though that may or may not matter if I am too much an outlier.) My suggestion would be considering more relatively uncharted territory in terms of what you are covering, like Survivor was when you started Phil & Will. Something with a lack of fan perspective podcasts rather than several such podcasts already out there. Rather than another major network series... what about looking to recap a series that releases independently online on platforms like CZcams, etc.? Many of these shows are growing to have audiences as large as or larger than many network TV shows, and the demographics are more likely to want to listen to a recap on this platform. Your recaps would likely be recommended videos to those shows being on the same platform as well.
One example of a show that comes to mind that is still in the reality category is "Kill Tony." (It's a bit like Showtime at the Apollo meets Last Comic Standing, but also its own thing, and very blue with its comedy, if you're unfamiliar.) Perhaps a show like that, with a large and loyal audience like Survivor, consistent episodes, and a rich history going on 10 years now, lending itself to rankings and comparisons for deeper discussion like Survivor, would offer a certain number of untapped (versus tapped out on other podcasts) viewers/listeners interested in such things. Currently, like Survivor when you started, there is not a lot of supplementary content out there right now for Kill Tony, much less a fan perspective, versus people who are directly connected to the show, a la Rob and Survivor. Something like this would also be more likely to capture a listener like me, versus something that covers a further niche topic about Survivor specifically, or another Survivor-adjacent show with a lot of existing coverage already out there like Amazing Race or Big Brother. The caveat is of course that you must actually be a viewer yourself, but whether Kill Tony or another show like it with an audience on CZcams, I recommend exploring/discussing some options like this among your team.

I'm not gonna lie. I miss the "Survivor" in the title and the logo. I'm glad that I took a screenshot of the old logo and keep it.
I'm here since the Phil and Will times so I'm glad that Phil is now expanding the channel. I still believe that Phil or Alexa should be on Survivor and hopefully it will happen someday.
I would like to see content about the Amazing Race on this channel but as long as Suvivor is here I'm happy.

Love the content and the changes that have been made so far. You and Will should do the Game of Gold on GG Poker. It's the world's first poker reality TV show. It interestingly combines poker strategy with components of reality TV.

Some survivor based content I’d love to see is a Brantsteel simulation once a month or something, could re do a season to see how it would turn out in alternate universe, or just put it whoever you want.
Will definitely consider something like this!

When does it start?

Hey Phil! Could Will do a show where he talks about what it was like being a dream teamer (getting into it, a day in the life, etc.). Idk if he’s allowed to talk about it but if he is I think it would be really interesting to learn about!
Also, I personally would love another Survivor Season ranking! That’s what first got me into the Specialists.
Lastly, if you’re watching the Traitors, I would highly recommend either you or someone on the channel do a review of BB10! It’s widely considered the best season of Big Brother and Dan Gheesling from that season will be on the Traitors next season!

A season ranking is long overdue especially since Will has a full 10 seasons to rank now!
Honestly, I wouldn’t be that upset with no big brother US coverage (bb Canada has production that cares a bit more & most seasons of bb Canada are worth a watch). The problem with big brother USA is that I feel like bb production hates bb and feels the need to drag it out longer. Anytime you naturally have interesting conflict/ dynamics lately they add a dumb twist that kills all suspension. It feels like they don’t even try to produce a good show. Like production kind of views it as a “dumb summer show” and does the bare minimum to produce it. All the action occurs on the live feeds and the episodes are all “so I walked in the backyard and outside there is….” They always end up casting people who don’t even want to play/win. They just want to collect their stipend & “prove that you can play an honest & loyal game”. Big brother has the potential to be good if it was a) SHORTER b) cast competitive people c) production took the game more seriously d) disperse the comps better so all the crapshoots & equitable comps aren’t all at the front and the physical ones aren’t all in the back half of the game. E) actually edit the show in a way that HAS the interesting moments
TLDR: Big Brother Canada is a good show which deserves content (it would be cool to see content from old seasons too just for your reactions/ fresh opinions of older seasons). BB USA is 100% skippable because us production doesn’t care about filming a good show.
BB Canada is the one we're leaning toward doing. Blake has much more of an interest in that than the US show

Do a Cagayan Rewatch. Tony’s game that season does not get enough credit because of his WAW game and Tony’s negative edit to prop up Spencer. He did the meat Shield Strategy before Jeremy. He called Spencer and Tasha his “buffers”.
This could be a good one for the summer! Cagayan was the season before we started podcasting, so it'd be fun to go back and look at that!

This could be a really good podcast! We do have podcasts for The Shining, Stand By Me, and The Shawshank Redemption in our favorite 100 movies! But would love to dive into some of his others.
Hi Phil, I love the idea of your sports podcast.
I would love for you and Will checking out other international sports, I al from Australia and would love for you to check out the AFL, NRL, cricket (probably the Big Bash would be a better idea), netball- the Australian women are 12 time world champions, plus there is are relatively new mens competitions.

Would need to look into the rules of all of these sports, but not going to count out anything yet! I went to Bermuda a few times and always found it fascinating when cricket was on TV. Made very little sense to me!

As somebody who regretfully watches American big brother, don’t watch it lol.
It’s a really bad show tbh. Unless you’re going all out to dive deep into the live feeds it’s pointless cause the show is so bad. Great game, terrible show/producers.
The only way we'd end up doing American Big Brother is if Blake, who will be a huge part of our Patreon, and a co-host want to do it for the channel. I (Phil) will never do it!
