Well if you're comparing La Dispute to a different band, there is going to be a difference. Not all bands in the same genre sound exactly the same to me either, but that's what they're classified as even in their description, So I didn't just make that up. They're from my city so I've kept up with them quite a bit.

I think it's because both of their voices are so raw, especially against the instruments. They're very similar.
