In Britain, they take your car for no insurance, no mot, etc plus you will get points which increases your insurance a great deal and fine. Btw you have to pay for towing and storage fee until you get the correct documents which min of £200

The police officer even checked the current person it was registered under and it showed the person he didnt even buy it from? Local MA guy here. MA car laws are insane. When I was 16-19 I had 3 tickets. One for a no inspection on my motorcycle, and two for "non factory exhausts (and one of those was a stock MS3). However, I never fought any because the 50$ fines were cheaper than going to court, and when I called my insurance company, they said it didn't add points to my license.... Well they don't add points to your license... In most states... MA isn't one of them... I got mail saying if I didn't take a driver's reeducation course I'm 30 days I'd loose my license... Over modifying my exhaust.... This was an 8 hour course basically telling people speeding is bad... I've literally never had a speeding ticket...

Here's a tip from a car detailer, don't ever use ceramic coat outside or in an area with air movement, you get dust and dirt trapped in the ceramic coat and it never comes out. Your best off to wash it with a mitt, shammy it, clay bar (if needed) then apply the ceramic coat in a closed garage

Pretty much the same result I had every time I went to court on similar charges. Most of the time if you show up and present the paperwork they usually dismiss the charges as long as you agree to pay the court costs. Of course the real cost is getting the car out of impound and hope they didn't dent or scratch the vehicle. Glad it worked out. If they find you guilty you could be paying for years with insurance surcharges on top of getting your license suspended and having that on your record. That doesn't help if you get pulled over again.
It's going to be a one drumstick lunch after consulting the lawyer.
