Not sure why you would think that. The 3 losses prior to this were dumb losses and people switching off for a 10-15 minute period.
Even tonight did Siebs tell DCE to kick it out on the full, then with 7 to go up 12, he dribbles it over the line which kills zero clock instead of putting up a contest and then Brooks stripping it 1 v 1 only to not just die with the ball.
Manly could easily be on 19-21 points when you consider how close the 4 losses have been and we had another dumb penalty against the Warriors costing us a point.
Manly have been much better than the ladder suggests imo.

Late in the game tonight DCE did some absolutely stupid low IQ footy.
Kicking it out on the full short side, kicking the ball over the sideline from 30 out with 7 to go, 12 up. Then to cap it off pulling down Faalogo on the 4th tackle with a minute to go giving them a full set.
This guy is considered a high IQ footy player but his actions on the pitch say otherwise imo.
It hurts my ears, hearing this guy talk... Ten seconds was enough for me...
Now his manager will want a 10 year contract
Whenever I see or hear the name Hopoate only one thing comes to mind ☝🏻 Their grub of a father has certainly left an indelible legacy.
