I love their fighting stances. Sup fight like an amateur brawler because his dad is a farmer that taught him, Billy copied Sup because he see Sup as a role model.
While Adam fight like a experienced warriors, incorporated kicks, spins, hip twist, elbow and every other advantage he can get to win.

This is such an amazing scene, Superman was never needed for Shazam to stop Black Adam but neither of them knew that because Billy just got his powers. Black Adam intimidates Billy and through that fear he has an advantage, but then he pushes it too far and Billy passes his fear into anger. Shazam then uses his full powers finally, and absolutely crushes Black Adam.
You do know that Shazam/Capital Marvel caught Black Adam by surprise, right?

This is how Shazam was meant to be played...just because he was a "kid" doesn't mean he is a goofball. Bugging out his eyes and acting all whimsical...i felt like I was watching Tom Hanks "Big" with super powers. I wish the movie was more like this!

And considering black Adam was trying to use the woman to prove a point to Billy, he could jolly well just rip the seatbelt off the car and pull the woman out. Having the seatbelt on does nothing in this regard
Spencer Chua Wei wrong. He’s not that smart and couldn’t possibly know that she’d fall out of the car so he’d catch her and prove a point. She’s more likely survive the impact fastened in the car Instead of a 100% chance of a snapped neck with her body flying through the air and her neck suddenly into an iron grip allowing her body to follow through. Either way, his point wouldn’t have been made but her in the car strapped in was a better chance of survival.

Spencer Chua Wei Ye how do you know what he is thinking? What if she died while doing his destructive theatrics? What was the point in causing a crash to hold up a dead body to prove a point? He had a million ways to do it but chose that way. He’s not very bright. Having the seatbelt on would’ve saved her seconds before he got his hands on her, allowing time for the heroes to arrive.

I’m here from Pitch Meetings and it’s incredible how one actor’s ego prevented this from happening in live action.
Imagine Just Imagine if superman learnt some actual fighting moves like martial arts or at least military hand to hand combat............

Superman knows several forms of kryptonian martial arts, just he is always depicted as a brawler.
Easier to animate if you don't have to actually know how to fight. To properly animate a fighting style, you'd have to know a least the basics of that fighting style.

This is the kind of Dark and Serious Fight Scene I want to see in the Black Adam Film or a Man of Steel sequel.
The scene works particularly well when contrasted with the more upbeat tone at the beginning of the mini movie. Edgy Billy and gloomy Supes are……alright, but it’s more impactful when these characters’ optimism are challenged rather than dark all the way, inside and out.

Billy and Clark both have the same issue. They hold back in fights because they don’t wanna kill their opponents. But some opponents can take the hits. He should have known from the start Adam could have rolled with the punches but he was still worried.
In The Comics, Superman Said He Does Not Hold Back On The Likes Of Black Adam(Don't Know What Comic It Came From So Don't Ask Me)
It isn’t just about not killing enemies or holding back. It’s about sending a message, that even though they have the power to kill them, they choose not to because if they did, they’d be just like the villains they face. And warriors like Superman and Shazam/Captain Marvel, they are strengthened by sentiment. They do not fight to kill enemies. They fight to protect their loved ones.

This is why Dawyne was a huge miscasting of Black Adam. As much as I love Dawyne, the man's ego is getting out of control, he cannot play anything but the hero or anti-hero aside that one time in that Doom movie. And now we don't get the natural OBVIOUS sequel of Shazam being him versus Black Adam because he wants to fight Superman. This'll be the only time I'll be rooting for Superman and hope that the shitty writers just have him body Adam, purely to spite Dawyne.

Nick Fury was a white guy with hair yet Samuel L Jackson plays the character not because he looks like Nick Fury but because he actually plays the character close to the comics, because that's what comic fans of the character want: an accurate portrayal. They could cast Jack Black as the Black Adam, and I'd be fine with it IF he plays the character in the comics, and does it well. The character's personality and theme should come first, I don't care if they don't _look_ like the original source, except in the rare cases that their look is part of their character and too iconic i.e. Sonic or Mario. No one liked the live action Mario bros. movie because they weren't even close to what Mario looks like. Same with that god awful Sonic design that thankfully got sent to hell.

If you notice when Billy suddenly realizes he tired of being weak and used, he taps into his full potential. Both Black Adam and Superman both knew that Billy could kill Teth at that point. His only weakness is his lack of experience with his power and naviety. This short was able to capture all of the best aspect of each character.
Little ego for Superman to say what Black Adam has and don't have ...in 1980s SHAZAM cartoon series, Black Adam could freeze items through the power of Aton.

Arnold Vosloo who played Imhotep in The Mummy Series and Zartan in the G.I. Joe Series voicing Black Adam was nice. He is so underrated. Also he was great in Darkman II and The Blood Diamond with Leonardo DeCaprio. Also nice to see Jerry O' Connell and George Newbern return to their respective roles of Shazam and Superman from Justice League Unlimited.

Yeah, that's always something you wonder, when you see Superman going toe to toe with someone like Darkseid, it's easy to forget that he's not a God, or anything like that, he's just an alien who happened to land on the right planet. Sometimes I just wonder "if superman alone could become a threat to the entire universe, what would it look like if the entire Kryptonian civilization got his powers? What would they do?" The answer is probably "become just like the Viltrumites from Invincible, except even worse" but it's still something I wonder from time to time.

As much as I like Dwayne Johnson just like every other guy, arguably he still doesn't give off a menacing villain (or conflicted antihero) vibe. Just because you're a bankable box office draw doesn't necessarily mean that you have the serious acting gravitas necessary to pull off a character like Black Adam. Remember The Scorpion King? WB-DC really should've picked a Middle Eastern actor to play Black Adam. Dwayne Johnson has just too much exposure that some people (myself included) are getting "Rock fatigue". Him jumping on the superhero movie bandwagon feels like a quick paycheck to me. Is it because (even if he doesn't admit it) he still has serious beef against Vin Diesel's portrayal as Groot in Guardians Of The Galaxy (don't get me started with Diesel's outings in the Fast & Furious [which imho really should have ended with the final appearance of Paul Walker's character] and Bloodshot)?

@@jah2032 Even if you have godlike powers, the fact that the other humans are sapient, looks like you, and can literally beg for their lives should be enough reasons for you to think that maybe the difference between you and ordinary humans isn't as big as those between humans and ants. It's probably closer to the difference between an adult human and a toddler.
