Shoutout to Slash Gaming for creating the deck. Flamvell Guard is the probably the better choice once you realize that Magna Dragon cant be discarded by consonance.
Oppression is kind of okay as few decks can effectively run it but it forces a player to save their outs and play in a way they don’t lose. It’s bad because of the flood gate it is, but the thought process needed to effectively beat oppression can be very tough which is what we want in a format, I would argue.
@@covershopkid for me oppression ist just a game and fun ruining card. But well, later formats like tengu or september 2012 suffer from maxx c, which is imo even worse, often resulting in a loss if dropped at crucial times or against fun decks, thus edison ends up still being the best legacy format, right after april 2015 imo
@@covershopkid technically yes, but it most definately limits the use rogue/fun decks have since they cant really outplay oppression or if they can, they cant handle the pressure the better decks can inflict under oppression. And even the better decks cant just always play around or, or end up losing because they have to fear oppression and thus save cards which can end up in losing the game. For me personally the bad outweighs the good by far, but like I said, it still is better than maxx c.

How on fckng earth is more fun to do a 35 moves turn and let the dice decide who wins to a slow, peacefully, more strategic game like edison's ygo?
In game 3 you cannot use magna drago for cards of consonance because it has more than 1000 atk. Hence why i do not play it

@@Tools-yt4sk I agree. I’d hate to lose games because of oppression but it specifically makes the other player use more skill in playing around it.
