This is one of my favorite artists of all my life; his songs have been with me since I was a teenager, in special occasions with the mothers of my two children and even in my current divorced life brings me good memories! It's relaxing to listen to his music too! His music is so beautiful and elegant to listen to when you driving even by yourself just driving around in the way to a restaurant or just enjoying the city lights at night! I love your music. I have been a big fan for more than 25 years!! When my Mother was dying with cancer, we would set and talk our mother/daughter talks with Michael Bolton softly playing in the background!!! She loved your music also, and I felt so guilty that I had tickets to your concert and she would have loved to have gotten to go, and I would have taken her in a heartbeat, but she was to sick and weak to go………😢💔 (I have attended 4 of your concerts!!! And they were WONDERFUL!!!!)

I love the fact he says his greatest achievement thus far ,are indeed his children. and grandbabies I feel the same about my children, though I have no grandbabies yet... he truly is wonderful in every way... I can only hope to one day meet him.. I don't know if he ever gets to new England much in concerts.. but one can hope..

Great chance to really get to know Michael here. Answered certain questions I had. Got into his records when I was about 14. In my opinion he has one of the best male voices ever heard. Interestingly, what really helped me to develop my range is the same thing as him - singing Stevie Wonder! Lots of interesting parallels, we were the same age we began singing and songwriting around 12, then the same age started playing an instrument around 14. I met Ray Charles and went to the same vocal coach even. I'm all about emotion in the songs and a perfectionist too. Nice to find these parallels with someone I greatly admire, as well as take note of Michael's experiences when I myself am an aspiring, passionate singer/songwriter. Such a shame he was hit so hard with the whole infringement case, so many years too. I am one who is very much against copyright infringement, but even I feel like this was blown way out of proportion. Is it possible his brother who introduced him to all types of records played The Isley Brother's song - yes. Is it possible Michael and Goldmark never heard it - absolutely. Creative coincidences do happen and if you listen to other records of that time and artists like Jackie Wilson, The Isley Brother's song could easily be down to this. Always respected Michael, will continue to do so.
The thing about the isley Brothers song is that it was never released on a cassette or record or anything. Nothing where you could replay it. That's what's so confusing about it. 🤷🏽♀️ oh well, not wanting to discuss it with anyone but just wanted to add that weird factoid lol.

When I got the TIME, LOVE AND TENDERNESS cd back in 1991. I did not take to the song LOVE IS A WONDERFUL THING, right away. I assumed even then without even knowing of the The Isley Brothers, that the song Micheal did was remake of an older song. So that song put me off for some reason. Even though the song is not an exact replica at all, I do here similarities in the LOVE IS A WONDERFUL THING part.
