Didn't think one had to use WDT when grinding with the Hedone Honne. Thought it was grind into basket, tap to settle grounds and tamp. Guess one can only do this with the Versalab and Titus Hybrid :/

Because of the type of coffee, with a slightly darker roast, the temperature where Cremina is idling is just a bit hot, so yes, a cold portafilter helps. Heating the cups goes along the same line, and in general, if you drink your espresso immediately, it adds nothing that your cup is actually heated. Btw, you can see that some people are actually pulling the light roasts over the frozen steel ball :) All depends on the coffee you have. Just my 2c

micra has plenty of steam power to give perfect foam, most likely the technique that needs working on.

This is Hedone Honne. It is a blast. Hybrid burrs, amazing espresso. I tried many, many grinders.
Thanks for sharing first of all. But I don’t understand why the portafilter nor the cup is pre heated. This cannot be a tasty hot espresso
