Awesome review! Just bought mine and it is the best purchase I have done this year! 😊
I got mine from the clearance aisle at Walmart for $150. Best money I’ve ever spent.
Thank you, you are good teacher
Great vid. Gonna look into purchasing this..
It's a good machine. Just got mine last month and very impressed with what it can do at such a low price point.
please make a video teaching how to use the menu, thanks.
I am considering this machine to replace my Delonghi Stilosa EC260BK espresso machine. I hope it pulls shots better than my current machine.
How to use the menu
I love it ❤❤❤
sooo my boss gave me something that looks like this and i have not used it at all lol. hmmmm i will have to try it :) thanks for sharing
Could you post a link where I could get the thermometer you’re using? Thanks for a great video!
Sure. Here: amzn.to/48t9XwQ (affiliate link) Yes, I bought two. Ha ha. Also added the link in the video description.
This might be a dumb question but can you add an aftermarket bottomless porta filter to it later if you wanted?
You want the pressure higher? Make the grind size finer
I agree. When brewing it was pretty much at the top edge of the espresso range on the dial.
How do you get the pressure gauge to work? Just bought mine and it’s not working.
Nothing needs to be done, it works. Perhaps you're not getting a good seal in the portafilter? Or it might be broken.
The steaming works not well, sometimes automatically stopping, I can’t understand where the problem is, I have enough water inside
It takes time to start up. It might be the switch not contacting. Turn it firmly in the on position and move it back and forth a few times.
The machine has an automatic steam-release valve. If you start the steam, then turn it back to the neutral position while you grab your milk, you'll find that the steam is released about 20 seconds after the neutral position has been chosen. You can still get *some* steam but it will run out and require you to run the steam pre-heat again. How quickly it runs out in this scenario depends how soon after the steam-release kicked in that you turned the dial back to steam.
This is not a bug, it's important that the machine not hold pressurized steam forever.
The best way to handle this is to get your milk ready, THEN turn on the steam prep. Once it's producing steam, switch back to neutral and then get the milk in place right away and select steam again.
What size of grind do you recommended?
In this video, I used the coarsest setting for espresso of 15. The setting depends on the types of beans you use and the roast level. So you really have to dial it in on a per type of bean basis.
Have you used light roast beans yet? If so, what grind setting for a double shot. TY excellent video!
Its a great expresso machine. I purchased one at walmart for around 250. Must get whole beans at sprouts or fresh market. well built quality
Try finding beans that has a roast date of less than 1 month, it's AMAZING!
I just got mine from Walmart 299.
I wonder if he checked the pepper for any fly poop today?
What? Who does that? Pepper? I don't think I used pepper in this video.
Pos , returned to WM
Why? For this price range, it's really good better than a Breville and I've used both.
I started with this machine it doesn’t grind coffee coffee fine enough to truly dial in a really good espresso. Your acting like20 dials is a good thing. The more setting la on a grinder the better for dialing in coffee. You had to of been paid for this video. My experience wasn’t like this at all. This machine does not grind coffee that is under medium roast. I’m sorry. But it really is a poor man’s machine. That’s not a bad thing. But it won’t make coffee that is anywhere near as good as a barista express or pro. And those are really beginner budget espresso machines.
I had a Breville Barista Express and this one makes a better espresso. But that's just my opinion. The grinder is better in this than the Breville.
You absolutely need a scale. What are you talking about. You know nothing about making espresso. The first thing you should buy before the machine is a scale. Espresso is just like baking. If you want good espresso you need to know the exact weight in to the exact weight out in the proper amount of time. You are giving really bad ideas to people. They’re going to make crappy coffee because of you and think they’re doing it right. Shame on you.
True. I have a scale and measured the output. It gets it in the ball park, it's not exact but it makes a reasonable cup. The trick in this machine is to do the proper timing manually.
All this crap this guy gets for free. Just turns into junk.
Thanks for the review!! I have been waiting for one that really shows how good the machine is! Getting mine next week!!
