I don't know how people don't respect paulie. The dude is a 2 time world champion with out punching power. He's not even a defensive type fight he comes to fight guys that are pretty much stronger then him, and his victories are him just having me heart, more will, and using his boxing IQ. He also had a broken right hand for a good chunk of his career and was still able to complete and win at a pro level. His physical built was never ment to be a boxer, but he sure had the heart for it. If he even had decent punching power he would of been one of the greats.

Believe it or not, bare knuckle is safer. Yes, it’s bloodier because you get cut more. But as far as sustaining actual head trauma, boxing is more dangerous because the gloves let you go way longer and you end up taking way more shots and damage to the brain, increasing the likelihood of concussions as well. Paulie was a talented boxer, but his biggest flaw was lack of power. If he had and sort of power, he would have been a tough fight for anyone. This was at the tail-end of his career and he still had some very good moments against an undefeated and full of confidence Adrien Broner.
