Humans are so strange.. this video of Karolina has 990k views in youtube and out there she is performing live and there are hardly 10 people viewing and enjoying her performance! Makes me wonder how many of us are enjoying life or really living in the present! Absolutely amazing performance though! ❤️
I noticed that too. Sometimes there is a crowd and other times not many. I had to look at Google maps to see where at Santa Monica she plays. We visited the Santa Monica pier, Venice and Muscle beach a few years ago from Australia. I had no idea there were so many shops only 1 street away from the pier where she plays. As a tourist, we would have passed by to she her play!
Because most people are going about their jobs .
Very few would be just loitering around with nothing to do .
The other strange thing is to be there in the moment and watch the performance through their phone, to watch it on a screen later??

My God this girl is absolutely incredible. And to be so young. I think she is 13. I'm loss for words describing her talent. She's is the best I've ever heard. I could listen to her all night and never get tired of it.

The feeling Karolina radiates through her violin, her movement and her smile is so profound, it's difficult to describe. To appreciate Karolina's music, you need to hear and see her perform. I've enjoyed hearing the Sound of Silence so many times since its release in 1964, but Karolina performs it in a way like I've just now heard and understood it for the very first time. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel would both be extremely proud of this young musician's incredible rendition.

Anyone can be technically perfect but this girl has got SOUL, HEART & CONNECTS with the nusic. Would prefer to watch n listen to a player like this than any other highly trained and technician perfect any day. This is what t music amd especially playing it is ALL about. The emotion, joy, love, sadness, struggles a d all emotions in life. Beyond beautiful. Moved my soul.
Your understanding of what real music is about is really perfect! Technique in the service of music or beautiful gifted soul, not vice versa. This is the real sign of great talent. As my music teacher stressed all the time - technique can be learned by practising, but real talent lies in the ability to play fewer notes breathtakingly. And Karolina uses only part of her technique that music needs. She doesn't show off her more than abundant technique - not even in lively and more technical covers. Just the amount music naturally demands, but doing it with perfection. She doesn't play music - she is the music, her soul doesn't play the violin - it is one with violin. And this is so wonderful and lovable to see and hear. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

I was 14 when this song first came out. All these many years later hearing this beautiful version is great. Too bad about the wind noises, I would love to hear her record this in a studio.

I have followed Karolina for years; she is by far and away, one amazingly talented young violinist. However, with that said, and after only 5-6 months of starting to learn piano...she just did a recital; unbelievable! Anything musical comes easily to Karolina based on pure talent; singing, guitar, piano, and of course...violin. Her work habits are equally impressive; learning to play the violin when she was 6 (now 14), she practices 2-3 hours every day. Amazing young lady with a heart of gold.
Each timer I see karolina play , I think to myself when is she going to play Carnegie Hall ? Each ordinance is filled with passion and conviction and believability .
So soothing to hear you play this Karolina.Doctors should prescribe listening to Karolina play to beat depression.

I was 15 years old when this song came out. I am well into my "golden years" now and when I see young talent perform the songs of my youth it just makes me so morose. My youth is long gone but this talent has a full life in front of her. I have always thought I grew up in a wonderful time for music.

With everything Karolina plays I check out other violinists' covers ... Karolina's playing ALWAYS comes across to me as being "emotionally expressive" in a way that none of the others are able to achieve. Its like she's able to suspend her ego and play with her heart rather than her mind.

I watch these videos almost everyday, she's amazing, an angel, she's the definition of perfection
before i start- i love the instrumentals to this song. i also listen to a native version, that helps perfectly in meditation.
after i watched- within 20 seconds, the hair on my body stood up, with beautiful little vibrations in my ears. makes me wish more kids would be doing this stuff, posting this stuff on tiktok, social media.

Karolina, thanks so much for playing this iconic song. It came out just before I began my tour of duty in the Navy during the Viet Nam war. so many mixed memories while far from home, losing the girl I was with seriously for two years and not being able to do anything about it. Though the memories were bad their was some good. I came home and meet my wife and raised two great sons. Some music can take you places no one else can go.

I commented on this song ounce before but this song holds so many memories for me it is imposible not to check in agin. A total time of change in my life, leaving for Naval duty, and losing a girl I thought would be in my life forver just a few month latter in a letter while serving far from home during the Viet Nam War. Memories from this song hits me so hard and Karolina brings it home in a much happier way.
