Stryker Trauma & Extremities | Hoffmann LRF Circular External Fixation | Fine Tuning Adjustment

The length of the telescopic struts can be fine-tuned once the frame is assembled. This feature allows the clinician to apply distraction or compression to the construct at any time during the course of the treatment.
1. Lock quick release mechanism by aligning the pin in the locked padlock position
2. Tighten ball joint on threaded end of strut
3. Loosen ball joint at tube end of strut
4. Wrench (4933-9-207) fits on pin to adjust length
+ Distraction
- Compression
Each full turn distracts or compresses by 2mm
5. Tighten ball joint tube end
