I know my son who showed me this guy will see this comment. This is what I dream of for my sons. Doing this, working for THEMSELVES instead of lining up for a pay cheque. There is so much pride and honor in these skills. If I was this 'kids' mom, I would be so proud. ♥
Definitely more of this content. Sprinkle a little framing, a little electric, a little plumbing, a little cabinet installation,a little drywall installation, a little tile installation, a little trim and door installation. In other words sprinkle all. From demo to landscaping . I'm learning. Thanks. This way you guys can bring more bacon for the chanel.
100% more. Was going to ask if you guys to the trim out or hire subs for finishes and also the plumbing, etc but boss man answered my question right at the end! 👍 I’m very interested in this business model as another construction guy myself. Super cool to see your crew knocking it out.
How do you have guys that “do a little bit of everything?” I mean I can do that too, but don’t you have to have a license to fulfill permit requirements?
The installers will slide in where they can, and remove whatever they need to to make it natural, anything that can’t slide in will get glued and nailed, and then everything will get sanded and refinished
Also i hv purchased investment homes for a business man I know? I always asked if it was a flip who did the work? If it was unknown I steered away from it? If it was a DIY I steered away from it? If it was a contractor then I often purchased if it was within budget? As an everyday Joe ( I am not , I am a contractor) I can not build a home or remodel a home , hire a crew to help me then sell it? I am required to be a contractor hv a bond, workman’s comp, permits and be inspected. Now some applies to me as a home owner however ; I can muddle my way thru the work often get around permits claiming ignorance and just slaughter my work? Then cover it up and sell it? I hv seen base molding used for architraves, 1/2” gaps filled with caulk ? I even seen a DIY’er make a mold pour it in caulk , let it kind of dry and stamp it with the base profile and place it behind the toilet? Why? To lazy & cheap to buy a whole piece when u can make it? I look at simple trims knowing if the Homeowner or flipper did this then what lies beneath? And that’s another story! I buy from only contractors who stand behind their work! In fact I believe given all the silly laws passed if you are a flipper then you must be a licensed , bonded contractor! With a warranty for your work up to 3 years!
Its not a glue. Its more of a heavy duty tape. I just had it on a whole shower i ripped out. Hardest stuff to deal with. What is it officially made for ?
@@danreeder1704 I think if you go on the YT Channel “Tile Coach” (an excellent Tile Contractor) you can actually hear his full explanation for it? I myself am like you I hv ran into it and wondered what is this stuff? It’s often misused ? I know it’s not meant as a shower pan sealer ? It’s like a scary thing to see when doing demo!
Carpenter here in Vancouver, Canada. Love the pouch! Debating on making the switch from my Akribis leather pouch (bit heavy). Do you have the link for that exact pouch setup?

👍👍
How do you plan to match\patch the hardwood in the bedroom where you removed the walls?
The installers will slide in where they can, and remove whatever they need to to make it natural, anything that can’t slide in will get glued and nailed, and then everything will get sanded and refinished
Now I see where DOD king gets his part time job

It’s Mastic! Not good where it is ? More of a waterproof material however; not for shower waterproofing there in lies the problem!

No way. I’m way too poor for that, I got a townhome in monument for $370, we put 3.5% down 😂
