    Great Video! For the first part of this problem, there is a simpler method to arrive at the same answer. Instead of separating the parts the way done in the video, separate them instead by cutting downwards at the 1 in mark and the 9 in mark (referenced from the left side of the figure). Then the 1/3 (b)(h^3) formula can be applied to take the sum of these parts without any need for accounting for deviation from the x-axis.

    Thanks for the video. The distance from the center of area 3 to the axis 'x' should be 5in, and not 4.5in that you have used.
