I find it so bizarre how quite a few of us are starting to do away with cable. I thought cable was a nuisance, but now I want it back more than ever. Even these corny annoying commercials that aired way too much. There’s just something so comforting about watching these, even if I don’t remember most of them.

Damn, I watched a lot of TV back then.
Always loved how the 2000s felt like this lucid fever dream outside the bounds of time that took the tackiness of the 70s, the excesses of the 80s, the attitude of the 90s and the internet pop culture of the (early) 2010s and blended them all together into a neon pink Frappuccino. Everyone jokes about the 80s being a decade of excessive wealth and loud fashion statements, but the pre-Great Recession 2000s need more love.
The 2000s also felt like the last "true" decade and it is a shame many nostalgia scholars lump it in with the 2010s and 2020s. Imho social media and smartphones killed the 2000s and all the decades before it.

I definitely remember the Suzuki commercial at the beginning and the Bob commercial about male enhancement for sure. Thanks for uploading these!! I've been looking around forever for the mobile phone service(forgot which company though) commercial with Ebenezer Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Past. the commercial starts with someone saying in a ghostly tone "why haven't you CALLED?" then Scrooge says "why you know I'm to cheap to spring for a phone!" etc. I can't find it ANYWHERE on youtube for some damn reason. It was from 2005 and 2006 winter seasons.
