- In episode 9 the Vanguard Enforcers attempt to poison the water supply of a well known Escher trading post. Things begin relatively quiet until all hell breaks loose.

I like the fact that you left in the bottle test mistake and didn't try to hide it or not mention it. We all fudge or forget rules at times, we're only human after all. I don't think I've played one game yet where I haven't made at least 1 rule mistake.

Thanks! Yeah the mat is great. This scenario was a ton of fun but I've read it can be bad if you've got a bunch of plasma shooting at a distance. Thankfully the Enforcers didn't and had to work for it.
This series is so good, I'm on my second watch! You have really inspired me regarding my own table top, I was a young teen when I played cawdor in the original necromunda with the cardboard and plastic box set terrain at the "hobby shop around the corner" - now I have such bigger goals! board quality is tantamount to game quality! love your work! keep it up!

Im glad you are using the wyld bows and the Night Shade Chem thrower. I haven't really found any videos where Escher use the Chemical concoctions to create some very deadly toxins, gases, or stimms. I think concentrated is a great toxin as you basically are lowering the toughness of the victim (really you are adding two to your roll). That means injury rolls on a 2+ for all T3 and T4 characters (I believe). That is only for the first hit though but that is powerful, pretty much guarantees an injury roll.
Now that was a hell of a game! The perfect amount of back-and-forth tension, awesome moments, near-misses, and melted heads!

@@MiniatureGameMontage Watching the report I can see how it can be very unbalanced. If a team has say an autocannon they can start on the edge, fire everything at the objective, then leave when it's been destroyed. I love the enforcers and want to paint some of them. I also want to watch your flames of war games as I am running 2 tournaments soon.

I love your Battle Reports but the Escher always get bent hard!! My favorite gang is Van Saar followed by Escher so I am on the other side of the internet cheering for them but getting let down due to horrible dice rolls.....i know it is just the luck of the die but it is frustrating for me. I used to watch sports a lot and got too emotionally attached to my teams, I think I'm doing that now with the Escher in your campaigns, lol.
It is nice to see you are able to play with your son, that is a great thing to see.

The dice finally favour the Vanguard and Young Sir is Escher-ing....i am torn. Waiting so long for the boys in blue to pull it off. Yet at the expense of the Boy's girls....shakespearian it but was.

Next on my to buy list are the Escher gang. The models are great.
I've converted the new Khorne Bloodbowl team to world eater cultists. But i am thinking of making a Gang with them for one page rules gang wars or even for the GFF. Together with the corpse grinders they would be 1 hellish opponent 😉.

Hmm, might need to play a scenario with the sentry rules. As they're written the mechanic seems very _meh_ but seeing it played out, it actually looks pretty fun... albeit extremely frustrating if your sentries stare at walls.
As for the game, I kind of knew how it would end when the Death Maiden went down immediately, but I'm glad the Enforcers got more than a bloody nose. Poor Weasel, dude was reduced to ash.
When that shot happened I thought omg this is my chance. Then I started losing fighters and I started sweating, lol. If we played it right, Sentry rules were fun. It gives that tactical sneaking element of surprise.

Great Game, but really unlucky Rolls for Escher - starting with the Guards, and continuing all the way through to the last missed To-Wound Roll
Yeah this was an incredibly fun game. Highly recommended as long as someone doesn’t have a big ranged weapon

Totally blanked. There were a few times we had to slow down due to general excitement. I even missed it post production so good catch!

Escher deserve better, but they can be tough to run, especially at the start of a campaign.
I agree. They did very well last time but we decided to change some things up and obviously not for the better.

I love the enforcers on that board. I don't know if they are any good in game but it looks great, have mine unpainted somewhere...
I enjoy playing with and against them. It feels like a lot of "house of" books have left them a bit behind, however.
Those smoking and flaming oil drums are awesome! Did you scratch build those?
Thanks, the drums are 3d printed. The smokestacks are my hand built 15mm smoke markers. It's just clump foilage glued on a paperclip and a penny and painted

Looked like a fun battle, though I noticed that you didn't roll for captures at the end of the scenario - there were no enforcers on the table so that would normally mean a capture roll - is it something that you have houseruled out?
Thanks for watching. We may have overlooked it. We will typically roll for captures afterwards and report if successful. We had someone captured earlier this season.

If I remember them. More times than not I simply just overlook it. It's one of those rules where it just has a hard time sticking in my head. 😆

The only thing that could have made that victory any sweeter is if the young gentleman had been at yhe helm. Vanguard dice have robbed him a fair few times in the past.
