I’m currently studying for my TEAS test after taking time off school due to illness. It’s been 2 years since I took A&P and your videos are helping me so much to review. Thank you so much!
I just want to say thank you for taking your time and explaining everything throughly. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM FULLY UNDERSTANDING CHEMICAL BONDS! I am forever grateful!
Me- Spends ridiculous amount of money on tuition and books. Spends hours in class lost in a daze. Also me- Uses CZcams to learn my subject in depth and more effectively. Comes out understanding every topic. So grateful I found this channel. Definitely using this and ignoring my professor from now on.
Mallory! I am dying! So funny! (It's not funny that you felt lost, but funny the way you described the whole thing. I totally get where you are right now! :) I am so happy that this is helping you! Thank you so much!
Thanks to you...I am going to be fine. YOu literally have given me so much ease with this semester. I don't even have a instructor to provide lecture due to Covid. Life saver thank you.. I can breath now!
Thank you so much for this! I was scared that this A&P class wouldn't go well for me and then I found your videos. You break things down in such an easy way for people to understand.
No way I just randomly stumbled upon your A&P playlist. (God) Being able to preview the course with the exact same textbook I’d purchased previously is nothing short of a blessing. And from one teacher to another, thank you for taking the time to be thorough and real.
I know I’ve commented before but I’ll always continue to say thank you. Officially starting nursing school now and done with all of my prereqs so I decided to rewatch all of your videos to refresh my memory and everytime I just find something else you say or the way you explain something that makes it even easierrrr to remember or understand and I am constantly just mind blown. Thank YOUU!!! ❤
Many have already commented, but I wanted to add my gratitude as well. All your lectures have helped me out so much, thank you! This is one of the very best explanations of protein synthesis that I have seen on the interwebs. Clear, well depicted, and concise. Personify all you like! It helps the explanation sink in :)
i WISH I FOUND THESE WHILE I WAS TAKING THE CLASS. I got a D in my class and after the class ended I found these, if I saw these while I was still in my class they would have been so helpful! I am actually going back and redoing all my notes and using your videos as a guide with the old objectives from the class even though I am no longer taking it until next year. I finally understand these things.
Thank you so very much for creating this lesson. I love the pace of the presentation. It gives time to digest the details of the material resulting in better comprehension. I takes all my stress away!!! I feel confident that I understand the material and will remember it better. Thanks again for an amazing educational presentation!!!
Thank you so much for these videos! you make everything so easy to understand! It is difficult to understand my professor, She flows through subjects so quick and doesnt explain herself very well. Your a life saver!
thank you so much! i literally cannot understand a word my professor says but i love your videos because of how clearly you explain the material! I have a test tmr and your videos have lifted so much stress!
I used all your lecture videos for 110 and ended up with a 94% in the class, Going into 210 will these new videos cover the 210 material ? Because I can not tell you how much they helped me in 110.
Thank you for being clear and filling in the gaps! I love all the interesting info you present as well, not hard to understand like the book is. Its really sad to say but the book doesn't always do a good job of teaching
Thank you sooo sooo much for posting these. I found this lecture series so helpful to understand my course materials. and I can spend time efficiently reviewing my textbook and important diagrams
I'm not a medical person at all. But when you start with molecules, then dig down to what makes them, then look at just a cell and all the components that make that up, and from them you derive organs which have there own function, and then you look at all the different organs needed to create a living person/thing, then consider all the connections between all the organs to support them, then consider they all have to be created in the right order and situated in the right place, then consider they need skeletal support and protection, then a mechanism(s) to maintain and coordinate there use (brain maybe?), then consider all the molecular machines that help build things like microtubules were they walk across from one end to other, the number of times dna/rna/mrna are created/replicated and the complex process involved in that alone, you should be in total awe that anything like us or animals even exist and actually work and can live many years, not to mention how such processes can give rise to conscious beings who are able to study that which had created them and go onto create things themselves. I cant help but wander how this is all possible, it seems to me the odds on a fully functioning animal or human being, being created is similar to the odds on a fully functioning Airbus A330 being created by a tornado passing through a scrap yard every hour for a billion years. What process(s) were involved in deciding a kidney, heart, lungs, intestines, brain, liver, pancreas etc was required, what decided which was needed before the other. Then consider we are the tiniest of dots on a blue marble, which is floating in our galaxy amongst a billion other stars and that our galaxy is a spec of dust amongst billions of other galaxies. Amazing !!
Where can I sign up for your class? The book is intimidating. Especially the big chapters. I can’t read the chapters for too long without getting frustrated, but you make it make sense! Thank you.
Around 42:32 does the codons and/or triplets form a polypeptide after translation is complete fully (after it reads and translates its mRNA to tRNA) ? Or does it form a polypeptide after each triplet set that you just showed, is read and has a anticodon that matches. I'm confused
Hi Tiffany! The polypeptide is formed slowly along the way--complete after translation is finished. Each union of the codon/anticodon adds an amino acid to the growing polypeptide chain (think adding one pearl (amino acid) at a time to the strand of pearls (polypeptide). :)
Hi Tiffany, I just purchased your Kindle book to follow along with your videos, but I was given the wrong book. The cover pages is titled "Making Anatomy and Physiology Easy" but it looks nothing like that book shown on your videos and on the Amazon website. Chapter 3 on the kindle book is only about "Transcription and Translation." Not sure what to do.
Hi Jose! That sounds right. Chapter 3 is only about transcription and translation. Chapter 1 is the cell and chapter 2 is homeostasis, 4 tissues, 5 skin etc. It doesn't have the same cover you are seeing in the videos because it is a kindle download file. The paperback has that nice shiny cover. :) Amazon should let you return the file for a refund if you aren't finding it too helpful. I am so sorry!
I am currently taking A& P 121 and even after seeing these videos I cannot seem to remember a couple days after. Best way to pass these classes any tips? Love your videos!
