It depends upon the individual, LPU does bring some great companies for placement, but doesnt mean everyone will get placed, its upto the students to prepare well and crack interviews for placements. If you can prepare well then LPU is definelty good. else if you wait for something to happen like a miracle , then its just like any other college.
in simple words, its just making a prototype of the idea, show to proof of concept, Hire a patent lawyer to investigate if any existing idea is already filed or not, if not, apply with the help of lawyer.
Have a CGPA that is minimum criteria to sit for any placements. I have friends in my batch who got 10+ LPA packages with CGPA of 6.5, 7 and till 9. I personally had TGPA ranging from 6.5 to 10 and total of CGPA 8.62.
I see this in a different way, 1) I am still an Alumni of LPU, I have not done any other courses post LPU's BTech CSE, so my educational credit still stays with LPU. 2) My first placement was provided by LPU, I got placed during my Third year at one of the best company ever, it was what changed my life. from there only I learned about the heavenly life of product based companies and all the benefits and exposure we can get. 3) My first Placement was above standard package as compared to any other universities at that time, I remeber my colleagues who joined with me there was from IIT and we all had same packages. So the package was really good for a fresher or any others. 4) I had some difficuties in joining the company because I was already placed in few other comapnies and started working in a startup also, so there was some legal and techincal issue for me to leave and LPU helped to sort it out. if my placement didnt happend nothing would be happening to me till now, so for that aspect I am Grateful.
Assalamualaikum Bhai, How r u?? 😊 I have taken admission this year in bca(Lpu). Can you tell me which mistakes students often do, so I did not repeat that mistake. And give me some tips so that I can become a good software engineer 👍
Brother i request is from you i and many others people facing difficulties while Doing DSA please tell us guide us how we learn dsa in a strong manner how much role it plays in it sector
DSA is very very very Important. 75-80% of each companies interview is DSA alone only. Example, 4 of 5 rounds at google, microsoft, Meta, zoom, Tivo, Flipkart, Amazon, etc are DSA alone. you will not be able to get a job in product based companies without DSA.
Hello brother , I could not get into nit or iit , this year i am joining LPU , so is there a chance if work hard till the end , i will have a chance for good companies and all.
You can start studying coding yourself. since it is MCA, you dont have much time to study from scratch, so I would suggest to learn Python or any other framework based skills that you are interested in. It is still possible to get good jobs and stable future for you if you out enough hard work and dedication towards it.
It will be all UpTo how much effort and hardwork you can put. It will not be a smooth journey but once you finish it and get a good placement your life will be relaxed

Same, all good product based companies interviews have DSA for any role. Sometimes the front end developer role is exceptional
