- In this video, I took a look at a Topshak LW-3010EC programmable power supply. The main switching power supply board seems to be common among many brands on the market. This power supply is currently on sale at: ban.ggood.vip/Yrfs

Great visuals and teardown!
Hello, just joined! Good review, many thanks.
Great review as always. THANX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great review, and yeah this is a much better use of that almost ubiquitous power supply board.....cheers.
Super ok prezentarea ! Respect!
Diappointed not to see a test of the constant current mode, as distinct from over-current protection. Or does this unit not have a constant current mode?
I also note from the pictures that the front terminals are connected via wires to the main board. Perhaps the voltage drop on these wires is the cause of the output droop, given that there doesn't appear to be any sensing at the actual terminals. Could you please measure this voltage drop while it is delivering 10 Amps to give us an idea of the reason for the droop.
Great review. Can you show the internal structure of an orthogonal antenna (3 axis antenna). If someone out there already did then you might help share us the link.
Great review, I have just bought this power supply and I noticed that the decimal dot is not moving to the left at the moment to measure current. There is any way to modify that?
Did you check to see if the empty RS-485 pins on the front panel board work? Maybe it just speaks a simple serial protocol over that.
I like your voice and talking speed. Its a very good rate of information per minute. Also very good thorough videos in general.
Thanks!
@@KerryWongBlog May I ask what your career experience is?
I hoped you would check if the USB connection appears as a virtual comport and if it undertsands SCPI. I'd be really interested in this power supply if I can control it with custom software.
you can it supports modbus, there are python libs for modbus not sure if there is a specific lib for this psu
Look at the resistor network on the logic board. I think there is no DAC. There is an digital potentiometer build by resistors and analog switches.
Since this supply is likely the same or similar to the Longwei LW-K3010D you might be interested in this fix to reduce the switching noise: czcams.com/video/WytDROmjWKQ/video.html
Ground up front and USB in back would be much more useful.
