I’m a southpaw and this is how I load, and am pretty quick at it. A word of caution if you are putting a lot of rounds downrange is be careful not to touch that forcing cone at the rear of the barrel it gets a might warm.
This is the best way to load revolvers. I've watched a bunch of different instructors and such try to teach differently, but when it comes to control, this is that weird looking tool that never fails
Revolvers are just fun and beefy. I love my revolvers, and they're my go-to sidearm when hunting or as a backup edc. There's a reason they've stayed so popular even with such advancements in firearms. Sure as hell isn't because they're cheap, I'll tell you that.
I load/unload the same way, never really thought about it. Best as I can recall it’s always just felt comfortable, it came natural rather than something i was taught I guess.
Yeah I've always done this. Not the way you do it although, I may switch to your grip. you have your finger already on the eject rod. That's genius firearms manipulation. I noticed that pretty quickly if you don't hold the cylinder in place it will move. If you don't hold the revolver downwards when you reload rounds will fall out. This is intuitive, but I've seen people do this same thing with a grenade launcher. Like don't hold it into the air to load a grenade. Gravity doesn't like loose objects.
I load holding the cylinder with my left hand. I'm not going to juggle the revolver twice. I also push the cylinder out with left hand while I push/pull the release button with my right. My Dan Wesson unlocks with left hand holding cylinder.
Do those fiber optic sites actually make target acquisition better in low light situations? I've been thinking about tritium sites, but fiber optic seems more practical.
Idk. Ive been called so many things for doing it like this. The crazy thing is, I'm not the only one that does it this way. I've seen plenty of people do it the same exact way
Trained this way when we still used K&L frame wheelies on The Job, and in NRA Police Combat comp. Very well done, and for those who are younger or new owners 👍🇺🇸⭐

Me too. Go lefties!

I'm a lefty so I'm totally on board with this tutorial. Thanks for sharing and caring. But remember,Smoky says only you can prevent forest fires.
It's intuitive in my opinion. So much better control.
Right!
I friggin love revolvers ❤
Me too 🤝
Now I want a revolver. Nice
Everyone should own one in their collection!

Very smart
Thank you sir!!

You wouldn't believe how many people think this is unnatural

Give it a try and let me know how it works for you!

Good info
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching 🤝
Unless you shoot revolvers and have a pension for them it’s a really easy way to explain because I do the same thing literally the same thing
Revolvers are definitely my favorite style handgun
Seems legit
What ever works for you. I was taught differently and that works for me.
I need get a couple revolvers again and wish I didn't sell them to a pawn shop.
Everyone always regrets selling!
My question is are all your firearms the same finish?
Nope
Yep 👍
Thanks for watching 🤝
Yep ! Dan Wesson 44 , 4 and 8 inch
Heck yeah!
Have a black hawk also😊
Same here. A Unconverted 3 screw

Tritium would be better for a low light situation. Fiber optics are great in light situations. If there's no light, they don't really perform
If your right-handed you load right-handed even if the revolver loads from the left side.
I wish I could put in really tiny letters just kidding.
And when I'm not in the closet! I know a fruit a mile off lol
I’ve never owned a revolver, I need to remedy that soon, but this just seems like the obvious way to do it. Is there controversy about this?
I get a lot of people that comment how I hold it is dumb and incorrect. It's really disappointing how people are so narrow minded
Way too handle your Stuff
🤝
Dude really??
You must be left handed.
I am right handed
How do people not see the practicality in these examples? Dumb.
