For people leaving dumb comments about needing a scheduled start up, that is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, what if you don’t leave work exactly at the time you’re supposed to and end up staying late? What if you don’t wake up on time because you decided to press snooze so many times or you forgot to set your alarm the night before? Then your car is on for no reason and you are the same people that will complain about this device and blame if for your battery deteriorating at a faster pace
Just got the compustar remote start kit with this mobile app and I'm loving it. I will be going with the basic after the premium 30 day trial. All I need is the app with the remote start.

Can I use the drone with my oem alarm and just add an accessory like the alarm it kit. Also my car has remote start so I don't want it as an add on.

when I remote start my vehicle it has a 15 minute run time and then gos off i then restart my vehicle again but this time my car alarm sirens starts to sound it turns my vehicle on but not sure why the alarm goes on it’s this normal ? Any ideal

Really really needs a schedule so you can automate a start time... People in cold and hot climates want the car ready to go in the morning or leaving work.. and we don't always remember.

How do I get notified when my hood or trunk is opened? It only sends me notifications on when my car lock/unlock and when it starts and shut off.
Will this prevent someone from steeling your car by disabling the starter?
I can not swipe on the valet mode. It is active but the slider is shaded and I can not use it. Remote start doesn’t work. What to do?
4:00 in System Settings shows Siren mute/unmute option. Will this allow me to disable the alarm altogether through the app allowing me to enter vehicle without worrying about false alarm trigger? I really only want a remote start and do not need the alarm.
This enables you to turn your alarm siren on or off, if you have one installed.

I just recently got a Compustar RS1B-DC3, FT-ALARMIT-KIT, and DroneMobile X1MAX-LTE installed on my wife’s 2021 Chevrolet Traverse push-to-start, is there away that I can adjust the sensitivity on the sensor using the app?
The installers do that. I just got mine installed today. He said just see how you like the sensitivity and if you like just come back and we can adjust it up or down

are you working on a schedule mod to the app? if so how's that coming along? that's the one thing keeping me from getting it for sure as i might install a TCU & PIFA antennas for Ford Pass which has scheduled starts
also, what are the auxiliary features i have to choose from? heating or cooling? just windows and trunk?

i had bought one PIFA antenna & was about to get another one (can install two) & get a TCU but the thing that made me choose Compustar was the extra alarm feature (all in all $870 OTD) & the app has tons of features im seeing now that i had it installed. ford pass would have been roughly $550-600 but for a few hundred more i could get compustar with a guarantee so i did that. pifa antennas would have been $100, TCU 150-200, other cables 50 & a factory wiring harness for power & comm's to the TCU was $199. plus i would have had to have ripped apart the interior and done all that work. if it had been a 2018 model f150, it would have already had the wiring harness, just maybe not the TCU or PIFA antennas so i might have gone with it if it had been an '18. my f150 is a 2017.@@franciscoayon9470

If the vehicle alarm got triggered. Will the drone app on your phone have an option to create a loud sound alert to wake you up or just a standard push notification?
Just a standard push notification. We've gone back and forth on this (our first version of the app used the default alarm sound and it was not received well) - probably just need to create a setting where you can use the standard noise or an obnoxious one.

I have a couple of questions. One what if I need my vehicle serviced. How does that work. 2 can the Amazon Echo be implemented to starting my vehicle? Lastly does this work with any make and model with a factory remote starter? Thanks in advance it is greatly appreciated.

1. If you vehicle needs to be serviced, you can leave the system as-is or put it into "valet mode", which will disable advanced security features and remote start.
2. Yes, Amazon Alexa is supported.
3. DroneMobile works with most vehicles, but only with an aftermarket remote start/keyless entry system (i.e. Compustar).

Today Drone Mobile was installed on my 2017 GMC Sierra Denali and my daytime running light stopped working. I asked my installer about the problem. He said he was going to check with Drone Mobile to see what can be done to correct the problem. Has anyone had this Daytime light problem in the past with Drone Mobile?

I have a issue where I can start my car from my phone or lock it . This just started tonight when I got home. The error message I’m getting is Unknown failure when communicating with device. Also it’s showing on my phone that the engine is on when it not. The remote works fine just not on my phone n Apple Watch

I have the drone unit I absolutely luv it. The only issue is that you sent out an updated brain unit a yr ago and after install remote start no longer reads tach. Local installer wants 3hrs to reprogram it cause he did not do the original install any advice?

You do need the original key fob in the vehicle to start driving, but not for remote starting.

Yes, DroneMobile does require professional installation and can be paired with a Compustar system.
Notice "timer remote start" wasn't discussed ? This expensive gadget is supposed to be able to start your car on a schedule. Like once a week at a specific time so your battery recharges. For those of Us who don't drive often.

Its got an alert that sends you a message when your battery falls low ....
I'm a Tech that installs that product and that feature needs to be activated on the module not on the remote. Once that's activated then you can program it on the remote depending on which remote you have as well. Unless you have the drone system then use that.
Can you change the remaining time for started engine ?
@@craigking8681yes you can but that needs to be done at the shop you got it installed at. They would need to program it to have more time, default time is 15 minutes.
Do I need a different module to use my windows in the auxiliary mode?
Please check with your original DroneMobile installer, as this feature may require additional wiring and installation.
I am trying to find out why I am not getting alerts when there’s a low battery. People use the app and another user gets the alerts but it isn’t for their vehicle. This is used in a commercial application.
The alerts have been removed from the standalone systems because of the low number of users actually taking advantage of them, and the introduction of the XC requiring the use of those resources.
How to turn in hotspot?
It's good but has bugs..right now cant remote start car from phone. Might be from some new bug fixes. Hopefully will be fixed soon

I went to bestbuy to purchase but seems like whatever is in the package is not enough, there is a hardwire harness needed and it nowhere to be found. Your website shows literally nothing except x1 Max device, there is no contact provided to send any emails, no phone number either.

How far can you start the car or do you have to be closer to star it?
If you have the app (free for 1st 30 days) or you are a subscriber then from anywhere .... anywhere of course your vehicle has to have signal and battery .... if not then just like a remote about 50 or100 feet depending if you have walls between you and your vehicle

I think we should be able to change how long we want our vehicle to stay on from the app or online .... I was told I have to go to an authorized dealer .... just a customers opinion ... I still like this system tho no regrets
I’m trying to figure out how to change mine back. It was set for 15 minutes initially and I held the start button in the app to long and a option popped up for 30 minutes and when I released my finger it stated that way. I want to get it back to 15 minutes but don’t know how
@@ricwothek I went to the place I had it installed and they did it no charge.... maybe if you do the same with your app you'll get the 15 mins option .... idk just saying .... I have it at 25 mins the guy said there was no 30 mins idk

@@DroneMobileApp thanks! I had Best Buy geek squad person saying they won’t do install of the Compustar (fully loaded with gps) on my care due to protocol or liability of the remote start on a manual transmission.
I told them to simply not hook that part up! I already knew i couldn’t have that function anyway and told the lady on phone. Also, I dont trust these independent shops in south Florida they often have the shadiest, rude people working there who just do whatever they want anyway (in reference to alarm install location) and may just turn around and steal your car after having a really bad experience in the past I could really use some specific advice/recommendations on this issue as that’s the brand I want and cannot install it myself. (Unless there’s a very thorough diy somewhere.. im a lady if it matters.)

Why the hell do I keep getting glass break notifications only through the drone mobile app? But when I go out to check on the car it's completely fine and the alarm is not even going off what the hell?
That definitely shouldn't be the case. Your DAS-II sensor is probably set to sensitive. If your system is connected to DroneMobile, first try to adjust the sensitivity settings in the DroneMobile App. If you do not have the DroneMobile app connected, I'd recommend re-visiting your place of installation to have them adjust your DAS-II sensor.
@@DroneMobileApp yeah I've already tried turning all the sensors down through the app. No difference. They're going to replace my module the drone X1 module on Thursday to see if it will fix the issue

If it was programed to do this at the authorized dealer im guessing its done with the AUX 1 OR AUX 2
You would need to have an authorized DroneMobile dealer to have this auxiliary feature installed.

That’s a big delay from this that you don’t get with a traditional remote start.

The auto lock (passive arming) feature doesn’t seem to work for me. Every time I enable it, after a few seconds the app will disable it. Is there a way to fix that?

I bought this product in 2018, and had more problems than satisfaction, the app is not very good, it loses connection very often,and when you call for service you have to prove that you are the owner of the unit and wait for an answer sometimes days

with the last update it has failed me 2 times, in a period of 7 months the company says the problem is my phone service company ... verizon amazing!!!

You need to turn off the valet setting in the app. I also had that issue. One day messing with the settings and didn’t realize after a while.

In my case the 1st 30 days was free enough time to try it and see if I liked it which I did and chose to renew my subscription and I paid for 5 years the premium about 300+ but no worries for 5 years ... if you choose not to subscribe you can always use the regular feature ..
In my case it was use my regular fob ... 3 clicks to remote start or remote Off... I drive a 2020 Honda HRV ..
The DroneMobile module that's installed in your vehicle requires an LTE connection that's separate from your cellular device.
Pretty dumb that you have to swipe left for the rest of the features. It’s like having a remote for keyless and remote start and having another remote for trunk and other features. Why not have it all on one screen? There is plenty of real-estate on a smartphone screen. 👎🏼
