- A standard simulated engine failure in-flight marriage proposal. Video/audio captured via a GoPro Hero3 hidden in the cockpit. Upon landing a very nice JCFS linemen helped marshal the aircraft to the ramp and laid out the red carpet for the bride to be. Kayla was surprised to be greeted by a large group of friends and family, a photographer to help capture the day, a limo (ended up being a trolley), and a little champagne to boot. (Caution- video may include curse words)
Tears and tears just streaming here. Such a happy couple. No other words, just joy.
Great job Jay, you should be an actor. You kept a straight face with all the fake engine failure. Congrats.

I guess my wife would have landed the plane herself after this because she might have killed me in the air...

That is not happy tears. She can't even really think about the proposal. She clearly is recovering from what she thought was possibly the end. She actually said "I am done".

I dont think this fake issue helped with her fear of flying, probably would have been better to choose a proposal on the ground.
She looks right at the camera and she tries to hid the smirk every so often. I think she was on to it the whole time just kept mum about it.

We've seen this work with other couples. You've got to know your person...and it seems he didn't. Hope he learned his lessons and the rest of their relationship is going better than this crash landing.
