- Was a GoPro 9 camera traveling on the landing gear of a real Airbus A320? or maybe for rendering this video I used Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 with a professional video rendering software on a Corsair Vengeance i7200 (PC specs: CPU Intel Core i9-10850K, GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, DRAM 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4-3200, liquid cooling)

I actually legit got confused if it was FS2020 or real life once the video mentioned it. I almost immediately concluded that it was FS2020, but then realized it was real life... incredible how awesome FS2020 is.
I'm not gonna lie, it does not look one single bit like FS2020. MSFS is oversaturated, and too colourful, I didn't even question it
@@Admistt Well do you only play FS2020 on very low settings? Because I was legit confused at first questioning if this really was FS2020 or not, so I'm not sure what videos of FS2020 you watch but the sim is very realistic, much more realistic than X-Plane or FSX.
@@thecomedypilot5894 I don't have MSFS, it's not good in my opinion, at least compared to other sims. I've watched a lot of videos though, on the highest settings possible, and I do agree it's very realistic, but in my opinion, the colours are too saturated and looks too much like a "game". Other simulators like X-Plane 11, or even soon X-Plane 12 can reach those realistic graphics, with better flight models, systems etc...
@@Admistt What? X-Plane will in no way shape or form look better than FS2020. They're only making an X-Plane 12 because they want to remain as the #1 flight sim because FS2020 is currently the #1 sim. XP12 is just a way to get more people to invest thousands of dollars in their sim, it's just a ripoff. XP10 looks like XP11, and XP11 will look no different than XP12. The default scenery and flight controls are horrible in XP11, unless you invest thousands of dollars into making the sim look great which is exactly why they're making XP12 so that you can spend hundreds more, XP12's just a ripoff, don't fall for the trick.
@@thecomedypilot5894 I have no idea i’ve you even done any research on XP10-11-12 but everything you just said is just stupid. MSFS may be the #1 flight sim, but that is because it’s a game, it’s not hard to use. XP takes knowledge and practice, and there’s a reason why there’s study level aircraft there, and none on MSFS. There’s no trick, and everything from XP11 will be compatible on XP11, so whatever you bought on XP11, you’ll be able to use on XP12, so you don’t have to spend any more money than you already have. XP12 just has a better lighting engine and better clouds, so you spend *less* money. And either way, all those addons and stuff, they going to the developers, not laminar research. Did you even look up anything you just said? Because I did.
Love watching the underside of these massive aircraft and the sheer weight those wheels are subjected to.
Neat to see the reversers deploying on a CFM 56 engine. Best view I’ve seen of that. My employer’s A319s and A320s use V2500 engines which use cascade vane reversers. That’s where as the reverser cowls slide aft, blocker doors divert bypass air through the exposed vanes, directing the airflow forward. Interestingly, the CFMs on 737s use cascade vane reversers as well. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Airbus with CFMs up close. I’ll have to read up on how the reverser linkage works on those engines.
Thanks for the video.

If it's real why does the shadow of the front landing gear never change in the slightest regardless of the attitude of the plane or the direction in which it's flying?
3% dislikes ... What went wrong in these brains? 🤔 Beware of those ppl.
FS , some details at the aircraft surface are to sharp ( like the nosegerar), to early the landing gear
Its very real :)
Nope, 100% real, FS can't even get close.
Amazing! 👍👍👍
Amazing. Thanks
Something that caught my attention was upon turning into the taxiway @ 7:18, the front left tire appeared to be under inflated. I understand that tires do tend to give way on turns, but for an aircraft of this size, it surprised me as to how low the tire body gives way, it almost appears the tire rims may even touch the pavement.
That's very common on the A320. If you tke a look at the NLG from the side, you can see how it's slightly tilted forward. So when it steers to one direction, one of the wheels might not even come in contact with the ground! (P.S. I work on A320's all day, but mainly on an empty maintenance configuration, I assume if it's full of pax and cargo the tyre deformation is even higher)
@@tarcisofilho4878 Thank you :)

Obviously a real life video due to the flight path stability and the smoothness and precision of flight contrlols.
Funny. You just listed reasons why it's NOT actual footage. Real planes subtly move around all the time at that low altitude. And planes that size are constantly flexing, as they're designed to.
@@4seeableTVwell little smartass, on a camera that’s being stabilized with this specific technology it’s difficult to spot the “flexing” of the plane since it’s gonna match the frequency of the planes “flexing”
Real. No one can land that well in any flight sim.
Wrong, most experienced simmers can, specially if you have ILS
@@MrCaiobrz Experience simmers lol put them in the real plane they won't be able to land it especially something like an a320 that requires intensive training.
@@caribbaviator7058 You will find multiple videos ranging from Mentour Pilot to Captain Joe where they show a totally layperson can land a modern airliner with few instructions. A simmer wouldn't even need those instructions. You might want to update your prejudice.
@@MrCaiobrz This was a VOR approach
@@CockpitScenes Yes, VOR DME on 25R, I never said this was ILS, I said people can land it exceptionally well if there is ILS.
How speed is the aircraft flying ?
Awesome 👏
Simulateur, le train d’atterrissage aurait été sortie trop déraisonnablement tôt. Chouette vidéo néanmoins
C'est la vraie vie, la même vidéo à été postée en 2019 et fs2020 était même pas encore annoncé
Of course it's real footage. MSFS 2020 doesn't render trees so realistic. And after landing signs of real footage became obvious.
What a cool shot !
Awesome 👍😎
I know you can do anything with your plane on the sim, including manuevering with the gears down to align with the runway. And it is seemed too high by the time you set gear down.
Bro.. there are airports in the world where it’s sop to be fully configured before a certain point right? Even if it seems high for the average flight simmer, irl for safety reasons certain airports have a mandatory distance/fix to be fully configured at
Look at Madeira. You make a full 180 degree turn while having max flaps, gear down, and final approach speed. Way before being aligned with the runway
Flight simulator. What pilot lowers the landing gear eight minutes before touchdown????
He wanted to get this footage, so he dropped the gear early. There's plenty of videos on CZcams of pilots doing this.
Wow nice game Video , good quality game .
Not a game.
Nice view from the landing gear
100% real life, as good as a flight sim can be you cant get those level of vegetation and runway textures and flight dynamics
The lighting gives it away immediately. MSFS lighting is very good - but it isn't this.
Especialy the clean and detail reflections on the engine is too good
Exactly and all so the tarmac and the taxiway shows this can’t be game
The far fog gives away quick but any doubt is thrown out by the reflections, vegetation and vehicle traffic. Also, MSFS A320 doesn't have slats so dead giveaway
nope this is msfs the traffic is only a320 neo and the details is not the reel details
Que coisa linda, show mesmo!!! Parabéns.

Je ne sais pas mais, je dirais qu'il y vraiment une caméra. A aucun moment l'image du paysage ne semble hachée comme parfois sur les simulateurs. ? Excellent en tous cas.👮🙂
Tuff call. Some things may point to a (very) well rendered sim, like lack of engine pylon elasticity. The whole thing appear to move a bit too fast for my taste but on the other hand I have never ever seen a sim rendering all the graphics so beautifully and without the usual constant scene loading/unloading blurry thing happening. If it is a sim we might have touched the holy grail here.
Also, a camera beeing hit by a 150 knots winds is normally goin to shake quite a bit, despite you good it might have been attached to the airplane.
I was intrigued but paid very close attention to any indication of tire meeting pavement when it landed……I believe that MS and their have done a outstanding job with this latest release.
@@molliesdad4702 Okay I did rewatch it carefully and the engine pylon IS wobbling from time to time, especially during power changes (like going full flaps) so for me this is it : REAL
This is 100% real from start. MSFS A320 don't have slats, don't have vibrations. Then a dozen other things when you can see the land. I listed at least 12 dead giveaways earlier.

@@ANVILD3VIL The PLANE'S vibrations aren't fixed by the GoPro. Duh.

Excellent ground texturing, especially the runway - best I've ever seen on a flight sim! Very realistic. Shadows are still not quite right (plane on the ground), but not too bad. The mesh is very detailed and accurate now - is the resolution less than 1m? Although the photo real scenery was good, it was too bright once one got down low, and that looked fake. Great to see passable road traffic. One thing I note all flight sims miss out at the moment is wildlife and people - and without those, as good as the overall graphics are, things still feel sterile. I know that details like animals and people are really only visible below a certain altitude, but without their presence the "oh wow!" factor drops off under 1,000 feet or so. Still, this video shows a flight sim miles ahead of poor old FSX, the last sim I tinkered with...
what
You realize this is a real video right? About the shadow, you can literally see the light reflect off the thrust reverser back into the shadow without compromising a single bit of detail of the shadow. This isn’t a render. The whole title and description is there to make you think it’s rendered. It’s not. It’s a real video of a real plane in the real world. Look at the suspension, ground handling, etc. Read the a320fcom and look at the specified times for the gear doors to close. You’ll see it perfectly matches the time on the video. It’s crazy how people genuinely believe this is an msfs render
@@Deezorz what's up with gear doors closing time etc.? flight sims can also exactly simulate it. (i know this is real)
