Always use pallets that have HT stamped on them, these are Heat treated, no chemicals.
Also remember when using power tools, always use proper Safety equipment, like Safety glasses and hearing protection.

Good tip. Haven’t had that happen, but occasionally when shutting it off the steering wheel is close to the position where it locks. Then the key won’t turn till the wheel is moved with a little force one way or the other to release the tension on the key tumbler.

What's the purpose of the banging? Does that dislodge any debris?
