Ooh I just got the Ouai detox shampoo because I’m obsessed with the fragrance used in it! I’m glad to hear you like it! Also it’s pronounced keel-ate-ing (but enough people say shell-ate-ing that it could almost go either way) it’s a really interesting chemistry concept and I think it’s so cool that us curly girls run around just casually talking about the molecular properties of our shampoos! ❤️😂

Honestly for everyone if you use shampoo that has ph that matches ur hair and scalp , therefore ur hair will be healthy therefore less frizz , breakage and more growth , if ur shampoo ph is more than 5.5 it’s not really helping ur hair and scalp whatever brand it is

How do I find out the pH of my scalp and hair? Also my shampoo lol.

@@rhianna5842Don’t waste your time with this. Just find a shampoo that leaves your hair moisturized. pH is only one part of the equation.

How often should I wash my hair?? I’m trying to transition back to my curls and idk what days to shampoo/condition my hair or what days I should skip out on shampoo/condition or skip out on washing in general😩

Your probably not looking for an answer from someone like me, but wash it however often your body and hair feels happy with. I started my wavy/curly hair journey (type 3a-b) and I usually go around four to five days, because my hair takes forever to dry and it’s inconvenient to take hours out of my day to do it more than that, but if I wash it less than that my scalp gets excessively oily and my forehead near my scalp begins to break out. You have to try to find your perfect balance.
