I hate the concept of the SAT, it is just a money grab, we live in a world where you have to go to college and the colleges require you take a 50 dollar test just to see if you can enter that school. I am good at math and science I’m ok at the other stuff but I can not handle timed test. My gpa is fine,I do my work, I pay attention and I’m passing. Then along comes some dumb test that makes me feel worthless because I can’t get over a 1100. Literally none of this will matter a year from now. I understand that some things need to be looked at by colleges but judging me by how well of an essay I can write in blank amount of minutes sucks. I don’t understand why we still do this. Why are people bending to theses rules? Can we not protest this stuff?
Almost same with me but as an international student I should pay 110$ and I can't get over 1300 while the lowest mark student from university I want apply to got is 1370... It was the most useless 100$ of my life lol
and there are people who got a b in a couple classes because either the teacher was hard or maybe they missed 1 single assignment. This lowers their gpa but in reality they can be very intelligent. but do we get rid of gpas? No. It’s just another method of evaluating students rather then just one way
Griffin I understand those concepts and I still think the SAT's are really useless. I have a's and b's but I freeze because of anxiety with SAT's and I can't answer.
I have straight A’s and the last SAT score I got a 930 which made me feel so dumb even tho I knew the curve was fucked up
