I am so sorry you didn't get good news. I can't imagine what you guys are going through ! Delilah is SO strong and spunky, she will be just fine. She's lucky to have such wonderful parents to get her through. thinking of you all ! ♡
Keep your heads up guys!!! I have no idea what you're going through but after watching how strong you were through Delilahs last surgery I know you will be okay. ❤️ I'm going through a tough time myself and my favorite quote right now is "When life gets hard, always remember that there's something to grab onto" Even though it may be harder some days than others, there's always one good thing about everyday.

I'm so sorry about the bad news I'll be thinking of you and your family and Delilah. I know you'll be able to make it through because you're are all so strong and especially Delilah she is one of the strongest 3 year olds I know after all she's been through and what she's got to come she'll need a super hero cape because that's how strong she is

To be honest Delilah's condition is why I started watching you guys and I just fell in love. I'm always looking at surgery stories to see if the person has CP. Your girls are beautiful and I don't see how anyone could help but love them. I wish there was something I could do for your family to make this time easier.

I am so sorry you didn't get better mri results .......I have a daughter with Crohn's Disease so I understand how it feels to watch your child go through something like this 😢 Having a sick child is the WORST thing a person can go through .......you are in my thoughts and prayers 💚 Delilah is such a little fighter and she is young so her body will bounce back so much easier from surgery ! You guys have all our support 💗💗

Hey guys....I just wanted to say that we are all collectively praying for you. It's one of the hardest things, to see your child in pain and having to deal with such a painful and scary condition...If its any consolation, just know, that Delilah and you're family was chosen to deal with this because she and you are fighters. That little girl has more fight in her than most grown men. I see good things for her and I feel like even if she has another major surgery, she is going to fight her way through it. That doesn't take away the fear and hurt that Mom and Dad must be feeling though. Just know she is proud of you, and I know yall are proud of her. Much love and prayers your way. #rootbeerfloats
I had the same issues with my chairi malformation surgery. I had to do another surgery for the asist. uuuuggh that makes me sad for you guys you had to go through that too!! I am deeply sorry and sending support and hugs your way!!

I had 6 major surgeries in 5 months from when I was born to when I went home 5 months later. And then these past two years from April 2015 to July 2016 I've had 11-12 major surgeries. Praying for Delilah, I know she's got this. :)❤️

The results just break my heart. I was so hoping that she was done with any surgeries because its so not fair for a child that young to go through all of it. My thought and prayer will be with you and especially with Delilah.
I watched this as I'm laying on a pull out bed in our son's hospital room. He had a craniotomy Wednesday the 12th for a large brain cyst. I know that feeling of defeat well and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. it's so terribly hard to watch your child go through test after test and huge surgeries as you watch all of the "normal" drain from your lives. Thank you for sharing your journey though, it has been good for me to follow it as we go through our journey so that I don't feel so alone. Delilah and the rest of you are in our thoughts and prayers always.

+Heather D. Thank you, surgery went well..as well as brain surgery can go. You are right it is so unfair. He's only 8 and has been through so much. He's also diagnosed with epilepsy. EEG' s and sedated MRI's are apart of our normal now. We are on day 4 at the hospital. slow but sure progress.

Oh my gosh, that is shocking news! I will keep Delilah in my thoughts and the only positive is that they had this MRI scheduled so they can plan earlier treatment to make it better. So sorry for your upsetting news from the MRI. I hope that you can deal with this and feel positive for a great outcome from the surgery if that is how her team is going to treat it. Stay strong little chiari warrior. I had decompression surgery in 2002. I also have a tethered spinal cord and just had fusion surgery on c5-6& c6-7 in August.

things don't go the way we hope and there are awful obstacles that we have to overcome. unfortunately I know how it feels for your little to have to endure so much at such a young age. please try to keep your heads up and stay strong for squirrel ❤

Oh gosh I am sorry to hear the news. I will be praying for you all. I was right there emotionally with you guys at the end. I cried, I'm not sure how you kept it together while talking about it. I kind of know how you guys feel but I am on the other end of it. I had my first brain surgery at 15 and had 8 of them by the time I was 26. I am 42 now. I'm not sure what her other issue is, but mine started with hydrocephalus and a shunt surgery. I had 6 shunt revisions and then they saw the Chiari malformation. I had the decompression surgery. I also have a colloid cyst. I need MRI's to check on everything and watch the cyst. My cyst is in a spot that they can't do the scope surgery. The Mayo clinic won't even touch me right now. It is really dangerous for them to remove it where mine is, so they are leaving it until it is big enough that it will kill me if not removed. So I kind of know what the emotions are like for you guys, but from the other point of view. Because I understand alot more than Delilah does yet, I do wish most of my stuff had been found and taken care of when I was younger and I didn't have the fear and understanding of it, that I did and also do now. Last year things changed and my hydrocephalus that had gone away is back. This time it isn't bad enough yet to need another shunt placed. At 15 when this started I was more concerned about having my hair shaved off than possibly dying. I know it was silly but I am a girl and was in 9th grade. I have had constant headaches since age 15. I wish the best for you guys. I just wanted to tell you my story so you don't feel so alone, maybe. I completely understand you. My Mom is a nurse too. I think it is harder when you understand the magnitude of everything better because of having a medical background, so I really feel for you both even more. I also get really nauseous when waking up after surgery. Does Delilah get a cocktail of meds in her drip for nausea before she wakes up? I'm not sure what the cocktail has in it but it helps me alot. I just have to remember to tell them I need a cocktail for my nausea right before I get anesthesia. Like I said I will be praying and sending you my love and positivity.

Watched part of the livestream earlier on today. Can see the sadness and shock in your eyes. It's important to have a "why me" day once in a while. On a positive note at least the problem was identified early (by accident) before any damage to the spinal cord is hopefully permanent. Not much of a positive but...

I'm so sorry to hear that Delilah's MRI didn't bring good news. It is disheartening I know, I also received some not very nice news about my own spine MRI last Monday. Things like this is sucky, but don't forget that your have a lot of people behind you and your family during this time ❤️

I am sorry about the update with Delilah. My daughter and I will keep her, Winter, you and Charlie in our prayers. I know that we have commented back and forth a few times regarding surgery and anethesia and it just stinks. It is really hard to watch. My daughter is having a procedure at the end of the month and they are putting her to sleep. Watching this made me think if they will even allow me to go back with her when they do it because she is 15...
