Oh poor Lil Delilah. I swear as parents it always seems like it's one thing or another with our babies. I don't even know you guys (outside youtube of course) and it breaks my heart. I could totally tell you were about to break down when you were vlogging in the hospital. I started to tear up. I agree with what the lady Carolyn below said. I hate that delilah got hurt, but it could be a blessing in disguise so that you were able to catch this sooner than later. I don't know the seriousness of it but I will definitely keep you guys in my prayers as always. You've certainly had a rough year, it can only get better right??!! I know you have a great support system but like everyone else I'm also here if you need anything at all. I'm a motherly type with everyone lol. Please keep us posted with what you feel comfortable sharing. I feel like we're all a little family of sorts.
I have had several CT Scans and Mri's on my head and kidneys. what a trooper delilah is! had to be scary for her. đ
+Vicki Hurst It definitely is a blessing in disguise and the ER doctor said we're lucky we brought her in. She has something called a Chiari malformation. Tomorrow's vlog will have all the details and what we know so far. There are different levels and severities so it will be relieving to have more information. The ER doctor seemed very concerned. We could tell by his demeanor that something was wrong... which really sucked. Thank you for your wonderful support and I agree that we're all a little family here!

I have had a CT, X-rays, and an hour long MRI
The MRI was a terrible experience for me because since I had went to the bathroom before I went to the hospital I thought I'd be fine! I was NOT!! 30 minutes in and I needed to go to the bathroom! They slide me out to give me my IV contrast and I told my mom, the doctors said I'd have to wait. There was no way I could go to the bathroom, until the end. I was literally crying I had to go so bad! At the end once they undid my IV and said I was done, they asked if I wanted to see the pictures, and I was like yea one minute and ran to the bathroomđ I went back and looked at the images and they were all normal and cool! I just recommend using the bathroom right before your MRI and Ingesting NOTHING an hour before!!
Having to go to the bathroom is the worst!

I've had a cat scan once but I didn't have to drink the contrast it was put in with an iv but it's not that bad
Weird, I had to drink it, and also have an IV for the contrast. I wonder why they made me double up.

Omg that must have been so scary!! I had a ct once. I hit my head on the corner of the freezer door and got really confused. I had a concussion. Poor girl!
Ive had a ct-scan recently, and they put like contrast fluid in my foot (which hurt like crazy) thank god it doesnât take too long

Ive had alot of CT Scans when I was younger
I've had about 6 or 7 cat scans... They're not bad when you don't have to drink the contrast that sometimes goes with it. Hope she is feeling better soon.
I've never had to drink the contrast! Mine was put in an IV. Drinking it sounds nasty!

I have had a CT scan because I used to get really really bad migraines but they never found a reason

Mainly the MRIâs and the EEG i have had alot
I had a ct scan when I cracked my head open at the pool because I did a backflip in to the pool and didn't have enough clearance so I hit my head and my grandma said that she heard it crack open. But at least the day I got my staples out I went to Starbucks and justice so that was fun.

No I have not but I haven't had an MRI of my brain
I had a c. T scan of my head laying on the trolley being slides in the big loop and I remember this so clear it's was scary but I close my eyes and was calmer was only like 10 min start to finish

I have never had a ct scan my big brother has because he had a migraine
I was born @ 28 wks. I have hydrocephalus I've had a billion CT scan. Back in the 1980's they did not sedate you for CT scans. I used to scream and cry. The CT scans took forever because I would scream and cry and not sit still. They would wrap me up so I could not move. Now I only see my neurosurgeon when needed. I will be 38 in a couple wks....

I know, it is so scary. But you are lucky to have found it when you did and now you can deal with it even sooner. Everything happens for a reason (tho you don't know why at the time). I don't know if you're religious but when I was having a hard time I randomly saw this quote and it helped me: "when you're going through something hard and wonder where God is, remember a teacher is always quiet during the test".

I have had about 20 cause I have fluid in my brain and spine so they check it and I have Neurofibromatosis so I get an MRI scan every years for my head and very 2 years for my back cause neurofibromatosis can cause tumours to grow on your nerves in all I have had 20 or more CT scans and 15 to 20 MRI maybe more
Delilah will need yearly MRIs as well.

I know this is really old but I had a brain MRI under sedation when I was two years old to see if there was a reason for my hypotonia ordered by my neurologist my mom said they mixed my sedation meds with kool-aid and the MRI showed a mild form of cerebral palsy hypotonic CP and the MRI showed chronic ischemic white matter changes to both cerebral hemispheres which my neurologist said she showed a mild case of CP

Yep cat slabs are fine and pretty quiet but an MRI is pretty noisy even with the plugs
