    I love cardboard and EPS! Don't let them tell you otherwise, that came out great!

    A very nice video mate. Not only good work but also a positive ethic. I always appreciate your desire to not be wasteful, engage with products that make more harm than good, and to utilize what is at had with skill, creativity and excellent. Just another reason you're a good egg. Cheers!

      Thank you :) yes, I very much try and live as ecological a lifestyle as I can - any other way just doesn't make sense to me :)

    Lookin' good, Beard. Things don't have to be super expensive to be really nice. It's a good lesson

      Thanking you CT :) glad you enjoyed it and yes, I'm on a bit of a crusade because of the idiots who said "why don't you use proper materials?" to my warping video :D

    • @CampaignTerrain
      @CampaignTerrain Před 3 lety

      Good on ya'. Not everybody has access to, or can afford, "proper" materials. Farther, it's crafting; its kinda the _point_ to do with what you've got

    A bit of lateral thinking will aglow you to use a lot of material. Soft and curved, soak the cardboard in some water before you start, It will sag when you use it to build with. Also don't cut things square.
    Have you made your bench hooks yet?

    • @BeardClipper
      @BeardClipper  Před 3 lety

      Indeed :) it's so good to save money and be less wasteful.
      That's a good idea about the soaking - thanks! I'm planning on more of these and I may well use that trick :)
      What is a bench hook? :D

    Very resourceful, just goes to prove you don’t need to spend a fortune to add interest to a battle map. Would make a nice occasional video series of videos ‘recycled terrain projects’ Nice one mate👍🏻

      Thanks mate :) yes I very much plan to do this as a series; I should probably group them into a playlist huh...

    Only thing I would do different is maybe use a homemade wash on the building but otherwise bloody awsome build

    Most of my crafty hobbies are cardboard and pva! Free/cheap and not so wasteful. You can make anything into anything with some imagination. Looks fab BC

      Superb :) I must admit I was wary of cardboard myself until I gave it a go and I'm so pleased I did! It's so flexible, easy to work with, and does reduce waste indeed :)
      Thank you very much!

    Very lovely to show that you can use some rubbish to make a good beginner friendly build. Just use what you have and work yourself up from there. It is your table not theirs.

      Thank you mate :) yes exactly, and if this can encourage more people to just give that a go then I'll be very happy :
      Thanks for watching, I hope you got lots of hobbying done while I was your background :D
