Ahaaa... making your own like that is cool - I did a few of mine with earrings and necklaces and put them on the white background of my business cards for my photography, artwork and design that Im trying to get back into. All lined up, I really like the green with the silver, but the purple with the dark bronze colour looks fabulous too Matt
Matt: Can you imagine my wife just started out with ring making. I just cannot sit through most ring videos and I mean no offence at all. We are busy starting our ecommerce stores along with our first in Toronto QR Code Shops and marketing. So, my point is this, I was able to sit and actually Enjoy your tutorial videos. We watched I believe three or four just tonight. You are a pro and you really love helping people which is really cool. Thanks for inspiring my wife Matt.
I know this is kinda older video, but until now I'm watching it, you are so talented, always love your videos and have done some of your projects. Thank you Matt.
Very informative. I do have a couple of ideas that I use for my displays I'd like to share that are just a little different. I also use cardstock, but cut it so that it is folded in half and will stand up on tis own . I cut slits in the fold for the necklace & the chain goes down between the two sides and then tape the length up. For the earrings I poke the holes just like you did, but add tha little rubber stoppers to the end of the wire on the back of the card. That way the earrings don't fall off. Love your videos and work!😻
Lots of great tips here! My life changed when I invested in a small Fiskars paper cutter to cut cards. Also, you can save the fuss (and your lungs) eliminating spray paint and do random stamping over your card stock w metallic inks. Your end result displays your work nicely and I especially like the trick of a chain holder in the back of cards!! GREAT IDEAS!
Why don't you use the card stock for for making collages and oat tag paper. Using spray paint ,too much fumes. For the holes use a nail or a pin. Use the made up case you shown me. That's what I use. Thanks❤❤❤❤😊
I realize this video is over a year old but I wanted to share an idea. I cannot deal with spray paint, the fumes trigger an allergic reaction that could lead to seizures. I love the look you created but I had to seek an alternative. I save cereal box and other packaging. I cover it with white school glue ($10.00 for a gallon via Walmart.com), and adhere pages of books in-place. My local public library often tosses damaged books or old dictionaries in the trash. I cut and tear pages into various sizes and create a patchwork appearance. I cut to size and use a marker to coat the edges if needed. The process creates an interesting, old world yet timeless appearance. For heavily beaded sets I opt for corrugated cardboard from packaging. I store the heavier, hand beaded sets in individual cellophane, resealable bags also from Walmart.com. Actually cheaper than ebay. I purchase metallic markers so info stands out against the printed background.
Thanks for sharing this. I had no idea how I was going to display my necklaces and matching earrings without spending a large chunk of change on premade cards. Love the personalized touch. An idea for the chain, you could put the chain in a small baggie and tape that to the back. This way tape isn't on the chain.
I loved your video, and I used heavy poster board which worked great. I cut a square out of plain white cardstock and taped it to the back for the pocket to hold the chain! Love the music too BUT PLEASE turn the volume down and just let the music play softly in the background. 😍😍😍
Like what ur doing in asst others for displaying their wares, but, the music over bears ur words. I was concentrated on what to do, cause I was not looking at the screen. Thnx for helping me.
Love your jewelry and your tutorials but the jazz music in the background when you're talking makes it difficult to hear you. Just a thought for future videos.
Hey Matt?, Have you done a tutorial on framing and putting matching pieces together? If you have, unfortunately I missed it just wondering. I have never seen it done properly. Thanks Cheryl Buckstiegel

Yes, the Fiskars Cutting Board is an incredible tool for anyone who needs to cut quickly and accurately. Just buy extra blades to have on hand.

Great ideas!
Great Idea! Spray Paint doesn't work for me. Old Book pages are more my style. Imagine them in French!

Very nice. Thank you. I need some ideas for glass bead necklaces.
I was going to toss out a small box I received from a mail order. Now I brought it back in & I'm using the parts as paint canvases. Thank you ❣

Nice job!
.pizza box lids, cereal boxes maybe glue two pieces together for sturdier pieces
That would get me to buy what you sell, as long as it actually comes with the pizza!😋
great idea !!!
I love it!!!
Thank you, this helped me so much.
Awesome !
Your work is beautiful
Nice, I will have to add color to my cards. =)
Finally see, I don't need a cricket!

Thank you Matt 😘
I got a rectangle craft punch, make short work of the cards :-) plus can be used to make business cards to! Worthwhile $12 :-)
Great idea but I could hardly hear what you were saying as the music is a bit too loud and over powers your voice
Yea turn the music down
Great idea but not wild about tape showing to the front
Then cover your eyes...
Hahaha...."then cover your eyes" ....thanks for making me laugh out loud!
Nice idea for my e-commerce business.
Thank you so much
I have bright colored card stock to try this with.
Great tip
