So the artist comes to the top again. Brilliant ! The layout becomes a steel structure. It actually makes the whole look more hefty. One thing , prime the masonite. Paint will peel off if you don't. I really love your channel, im so glad i found it. I mentioned before that my daughter is an artist and I'm always enjoying an artist who enjoys his art.
Many of us weather our railcars and our structures. Man, you weather the layout. You are awesome! If you haven't decided too much on the elevated yet take a look at ITLA Models. Nick has elevated rail stuff that would fit in with your modeling, very urban looking.
Loving the look of the steel beams! Even before you explained it I could tell what it was, so mission accomplished! Gives the benchwork a very industrial or urban look. Really well done. Looking forward to seeing your graffiti video. I would like to do my own graffiti but unfortunately I am neither an artist nor particularly creative... so need all the help I can get lol. Layout is looking great - thanks for sharing 🤠
Your layout is really coming along nicely. I love the steel girder design. I too contemplated the graffiti fascia but I don't have the experience to do it justice. I am going to go with collage of punk and hardcore band stickers as my layout is set in 78-84
I DEFINITELY LIKE THE SEA BLUE GREEN COLOR BETTER ., REALLY POPS OUT !!!! I AM MODELING THE PENNSY AND I'M GOING TO DO MY OWN THING ,,, GOING TO HANG SHEET PANELING AS ENGINE PANELS AND PAINT IT IN THE PENNSY COLORS SCHEME YELLOW STRIPING , MASK IT OFF MAKING SINGLE PIN AND BROAD STRIPES AND 5 STRIPES (( GOLD AND YELLOW )) DGLE GREEN AND RED
How are you running water onto your layout without getting wet or causing a big issue because I would love to do something like that as well but with the area that I’m in and the space that I have I didn’t know if I was able to do that so if you know something that I’d do, don’t comment to tell me what you did
That industrial look on the benchwork is mad legit!!! I like the idea of taggin' your Patreon members to it also !
Love the way you made the benchwork look like steel beams and columns. That looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing your layout with us.
I agree!
Holy moly! Weathering your benchwork to be faux-girders! Brilliant! and you've got a bunch done, thanks for sharing! - Paul
I have never seen anything like the beams that is so cool. Great job making them look real.

The faux beams are awesome!
I do love the weathered facia. Can't wait to see the whole layout done
Very creative treatment of the benchwork. I don't recall ever seeing anything like that before. Great urban look!
Wow! Faux steel bench work is the bomb!
Great video and you are pulling off the steel beam look, awesome job!
You got a lotta creative stuff goin on upstairs! Love to watch it come together.
You do beautiful work. Absolutely love your weathering vids, very informative. Great job on the layout legs

Sweet work on the legs
Love the I beam look
Very NYC vibe
Damn i like the layout weathering mate . That's sick 👍👏
You don’t have to make it Brief as possible. When your videos come out I get a glass of ice tea, sit on my porch and just chill
Check out the NYC Highline. It’s since been made into a walking trail but it used to be used in the meat packing district. I think it’s up your alley.
Creative, different, great.
Like the look of weathered steel benchwork, a good break away from the dark matte earth tones most facias are.

Love you!🦾
Will you create a video with speak over…showing you build any building or section from beginning to end?
Love the benchwork Wayman. How about tagging some rolling stock with your patreon's name too. You might run out of space on the benchwork!
Awesome big bro
Airbrush Dropped!
