As someone who has been following Boomer for a while, I have to say, you did a great job! I'm no artist myself, and am just getting into building pieces of my layout, I really like how you started with his idea and made it your own. I look forward to seeing what else you create for your layout!

WH that is a cool build that you copied from Boomer. I need an over pass for a Highway at our club. Been thinking of scratching the Bridge. I will have to take some measurements the next time I am up that way. to get an Idea going. Love what you have been doing to the layout. KB

Howdy! That is an awesome build. I've been following Boomer for 6 months or so... and his vlogs are top notch. His ability to break down his processes into manageable pieces is very effective. I want to be able to scratch build at least part of my layout as I think it adds a certain uniqueness and personal touch. You are only limited by your imagination. CONGRATS on hitting 5k subs! Really awesome! I keep falling into the same trap with my videos... I really over-produce them and it seriously delays getting them posted. It just kinda snowballs on me... lol. Anyway, great job and thanks for sharing 🤠

Your bridge look great. I love Boomer, one thing though, he uses Timyia acrilic paints. He likes to thin with alcohol.

That is a well done model. I like that the camber in the road was added. Will you paint the road disappearing in the distance on the backdrop?

Very nice work...one question though. Why the uneven spacing on the I-beam garters on the one side? Was this done intentional or just an accident?
It was on purpose to fit the track underneath it.

I think you misunderstood my question cause your response doesn't make sense about the underneath track. I'm talking about the (8) I-beams that the road sits on. If you are looking at the open end from left to right, it looks like the first two I-beams are alot closer together that the rest of them. Is this just an illusion on the video?,, done on purpose and for what reason?, or just an accident? It's beautiful work either way, I was just curious on the reason.
Hahahha ahhh I see now and yes total mistake, well totally couldn't figure out the math. My brain wasn't braining that day lol - thanks though.
It's not a mistake...u can just say they added onto the overpass at a later date...I guess that's why I was asking..I thought there may be a story behind it...
WOW... What size scale are u building in. This is huge. I am very new in the train scene as a female and i am building in HO 1:87 i thought was for me a good..can see..meaty scale ok. But yrs looks real meaty man. So kool. Thankyou for sharing i try learn all i can from videos i view. What ever size no drama i still learn something kool. So again thankyou and i send u good wishes.
