I think it's fair to say that Poland IS safer than the US. It's not to say USA is extremely dangourous, but Poland is just...safer. Homicide rate is about 12 times lower than in America.

Most of this film was made in my hometown, Krakow. Welcome Dora :) Really - it's a city tailored to a human being (i.e. surface area, possibility of communication)/ You take over this city with your mind, not like behemoths like New York, which I like because I lived there a few years, but I treat Big Apple a bit like a tamed monster.

there are no shootings in Poland at all - such a phenomenon took place in our country in the 1990s - and sometimes when I write that in Poland, even the police do not carry weapons, only batons and pepper spray, Americans are in total shock, or they can't believe it xD

It depends on where you live at in America if you live in a big cities there is a lot of crime rate but if you live in small towns they're still crime but not as bad as if you live in the city

Literally every country is safer and nicer than the US of A. At least the ones I have been to, I am sure.
I'm pretty sure that Haiti, Syria, Afghanistan, Burkina Faso are worse.
But yeah, by European standards (aside from the ongoing war) the USA is crime-ridden hellhole.

Polish minimum wage is now around 4200 PLN -> 1100 USD. Medium (not median) wage is around 2100 USD so I would not say that are peanuts ;)
yes but you can get by living in a suburbal house or a small city apartment on that wage and sometimes even save some for a rainy day because you don't have to own a car, you can get by just fine without one and the rent and food are generally cheaper
Poland is a much safer place than the USA. It cannot be compared.
First of all, even in my very small area we have Wal-Marts everywhere, for convenience. The USA is HUGE, two oceans, many, many lakes and Gulf of Mexico. More people more violence ( I can't explain our gun problem) our unemployment rate is WAY DOWN! If you want beauty, we have beauty, just check out pictures of the state of Utah....enough said!!!!
Statistics are measured in crimes per capita or per either 100000 or 1 Million people depending what you compare, so shear population doesn't factor in. In general crime rates rise with population density and poverty. Poland has about triple the population density of the US. However, Poland has less poverty and better benefits, so there are far less crimes of desperation.

I debunk myth number one: we have guns, we carry them, there is no need to use them myth number two... you will always meet someone who doesn't like your presence here 'I think it's like that everywhere' myth number three... we have them too homeless people, very educated, whom life has treated very unfairly, it is possible that you will not see them on a daily basis, the services take care of that, even if you saw them, they will not bother you myth number four .....we don't smile, yes, it's a fact, but only when we won't get to know you closely...
