Gopro are just to heavy... I agree with you. I had a feeling you wouldn't like it. Especially now that you have smacked it around a bit... and you're going back. I like mine. I have two. I don't post mine though. I can't edit for the life of me.
I just bought a Mini... but my two GoPro Session 5's won't be going anywhere though. 🤣 All the problems that I have seen on the 11mini can be fixed by Not using the GoPro Quik App, instead use QRControl app to setup and scan QR codes to the camera. The quality of video is just too good compared to my session 5's Nice Rip as always. 🔥🔥🔥
The first crack on the back of my hero 11 it barely got tapped. Today I misjudged a power loop and hit hard. It kept running though. I have asurion and I know they'll replace it, but I think I'm gonna reserve it for 4x4ing and 7 inch longer flights. Might have to give the minis a shot. I've got a hero 9, but I assume it be the same result.
I also ruined a few packs from that corner taking the impact. Now I cut aluminum angle and tape it across the exposed (top) corner for protection. A 3D printed bumper might work too.
Too bad, was looking to get one, but I will wait for feedback on the issue as this is the first I've heard of it. Action 2 is okay, as long as it's not in the widest fov, but I can't unsee the lack of dynamic range, but actually did the update the firmware to 10bit for it? If they can get it he shadows to not be mush, then maybe..., Anyway great flying as always!
I'm having a real hard time NOT buying the Action 2. I love my Heros but these A2s seem so much more useful in grab n go situations. my biggest two concerns are battery life and how much I can really color grade the A2 video

How's it going bald man? I have a question for you about the Fettec FC that you run. Have you ever experienced High throttle oscillation. Starting from mid to 3/4 throttle and getting worse as you get hire? It's not the ESC because I'm doing my due diligence and narrowed it to the flight controller. I'm curious as to if you have ever had this issue and what you did to rectify it some people say to tuning issue, which I'm hoping it is but I might have to replace the blade controller. I'm just trying to avoid spending another $80 if I can because the copter is not de syncing at all. Let me know if you have any feedback on this situation. Thanks

Just use the carbon fiber plates we use on bottom mount batteries. It will protect it some. Or 3d print something.

I got rid of the action cameras. The O3 Air Unit is good enough for me now.

That was for the Osmo action(their square version) I've thought about how that would be for FPV🤔

My latest content has been with the hero 8 actually. I'm in my 3rd 11 mini but i think it will have the same issues..

I don't have anything on Fettec ATM. The only thing you can do is make sure nothing is agitation the gyro. Otherwise it's bad..
Just flying HDZero and using the goggle footage from that. Kinda tired of using action cameras
